PMGs current price of 13.25p equates to a paper offer for LHD of just over 5.1p per share. The concert party weren't pushing for that much more, they suggested 6p per share is fair, so its not a big mismatch in terms of where the parties value this. As often happens when a vendor has a degree of power over voting, this was most likely an attempt to squeeze a few more shillings from the acquirer.

Wrong prices as normal pro do keep up don't mention lloyds or Barrett homes my lad.

Personally i would go back to trap, fogl or Gkp before giving forth loss maker you are always behind the curve.

Do get out more bob masters

PRBSHARES...

Falklands aka ChrisOil is just a ramping muppet who has been saying for months this would be sold for 9p or more a share.

Owing to this Falklands will not want any final " done deal" as it will seal his fate and everyone can laugh at him. He would prefer LHD carries on and dilutes for more cash with a 2p placing - so he can keep ramping on about 9p or more "jam tomorrow".

His 4 great ramps :

MOIL was 30p+ and now nearer 10p.
GPX was 110p and now nearer 70p
TPET was 30p+ and now nearer 10p.
and LHD.......

So the reason Falklands does not want a takeover is simply as it will nail on a price for LHD, one which is around 50% below the "ramp price".

Personally anyone voting no to the PMG offer is a complete nutter imo, LHD will soon be in dire straits with cash and PMG can offer them a way out of falling off a cliff into an abyss.... imo.

I said imo no one bidding till TC offer out the way.

Insider info don't be daft I have not mentioned specific company names. If you reread my post the question is when will they bid based on the bloomberg article already known.

Claiming insider knowledge is a dangerous game, especially in a bid situation.Best to ignore such posts. What is clear to me is that if a counterbidder is out there, the best course of action is to wait until the 11th hour,as each passing day provides a better indication of whether lhd,a single asset company has a gem or a dog, going forward. So far,it has defied the odds and produced healthy oilflows beyong expecations.DYOR

Falklands, I rarely post on these threads (tend to observe from the side lines) but can you answer me why these 3 bidders never came forward over the last 12 months ? LHD made it clear that nobody had stepped up to the plate so why would they suddenly do it now ? I am far from being an expert in this process but it seems that all the relevant information regarding Athena has been available and understood by all for the last year, thus leading me to question why 3 bidders have suddenly appeared now. After much reading relating to LHD and their performance over the past year I will certainly be voting yes to Mr Cross as I feel this will strengthen my investment ( saying 'no' will see a depressed share price in LHD and as a PI I am looking for further growth ).

Dear me there deal jumping the gun again

I spoke to an independent person near this in regard to the bloomberg article frankly the stuff he was saying about pmg for example Perth will never get developed, 3 bidders at least waiting till after TC bid rejected regarding lhd.

Cannot say much more when will the real bids come out is the 24 dollar question.

chaps. TDW are all over the place.

In any case I thought 6pm on tuesday is final vote time.

I expect that this deal will go through and PMG will acquire LHD.

Ut, read my post again. That 6 PM Tuesday deadline is not for the vote that determines how many accept the PMG bid. (I use TDW and phoned them this morning.) It's for Thursday's application for 'sanction' to proceed with the Offer to shareholders through a Scheme. But then that Scheme has to secure 75% acceptances.

They can't publish a fixed timetable for accept/reject until the Court 'sanctions' it. (Use of the word 'sanction' is misleading, it implies passage of the vote, but all that is being sanctioned is the making of the Offer.)

PMG's tentative timetable included 24/07/13 as the intended ex- date. They won't be able to firm it up until next Thursday; after Thursday there will be another circular to shareholders/RNS with a firm ex- date, probably around 19/7. TDW will then publish the corporate action notice after receiving that circular. Usually they set up an on-line form to complete, comfortably before the second Court date.

victor2, I understand Roger Barby's shareholding is held on behalf of Willie West although may be mistaken on that. Theodore William Riggall West esquire, to give him his full title has been associated with LHD for ten years or so.

Further to bam bams post of yesterday who is willie west
the only person parkmead have been trying to change their
mind this week is roger barby who owns 9% without much joy
unless hayden and mates are very good poker players the bid
looks doomed.

First things first. "8 out of 10 posters on this thread have already told you to shut up in the last week" ... since I have not posted in the last week, I will add mine to that.

Go away trd5, since you don't have a position to defend you're just a waste of space.

Now to business. Apologies if I have missed the point of this and am restating the bleedin' obvious but the reason TDW have not posted the Scheme as a corporate action yet is that it has not received the approval of the Court. Proxies for that meeting are not important. The real proxy battle for LHD will not start until after the Court rubber stamp meeting on 11/07. The opportunity to express opposition (and give our broker instructions how to vote our shares) won't be presented to us until then. That's why TDW have nothing to publish yet.

The Lochard Board will ask the Court to approve PMG's timetable, which includes a meeting to approve the Scheme scheduled for two weeks later (25th July>). That is the important meeting, when opposition will be expressed, and the proxy battle will be decided.

(Of course we could go to next week's Sanction meeting and point out that there is already enough declared opposition to make the 25th of July a waste of time, but I don't think the Court would listen.)

Is that right? That's my understanding.
