03/9/2020 06:56 | All civil servants are obviously going to be behind another layer of bureaucracy that being part of Europe provides because it's going to deliver additional career opportunities. I bet there are hundreds of EU jobs opportunities advertised internally within the civil service. These people will do anything to thwart Brexit and need a good talking to. These people will do anything to thwart Brexit and need a good talking to. I'd have worded it slightly stronger than that. :) | freddie01

02/9/2020 22:50 | Trump Leads Biden At The Bookies Amid Surge In Black Americans' Support This huge swing comes as Summit News' Paul Joseph Watson notes that the results of a new national poll reveal that a stunning 28 per cent of black Americans plan on voting for President Donald Trump. Among Black Voters: Biden 66% (-23 vs 2016 results) Trump 28% (+20) Among Hispanic Voters: Biden 56% (-10) Trump 41% (+13) 29 per cent of black Americans also approve of the job Donald Trump is doing. This compares to 2016 when Trump attracted 8 per cent of the black vote while Hillary Clinton captured 89 per cent. Joe Biden is down to 66 per cent of the black vote, according to the poll. Amongst Hispanics, Trump is up 13 points on the 2016 (41%), while Biden is down 10 per cent (56%). “Gonna be a Trump landslide – again!” Activist Candace Owens, who has led the ‘Blexit’ campaign to convince black Americans to get off the Democratic reservation, appears to have achieved a stunning success. | geckotheglorious

02/9/2020 19:25 | Not mine either which is why our family funds are mostly cash with some gold interests and a smattering of what I call specials. We've pretty much agreed that something has got to give. It is well worth looking back at how markets in America behaved in the years following 1929. Now I'm not claiming that things will replicate that but something fairly similar can't and shouldn't be discounted. | patientcapital

02/9/2020 17:32 | Min., I agree with you that these tech valuations are crazy. I sold some ZM yesterday - having jumped from 300 to 450 in two days. Bought back in March/April at 130. Madness. | patientcapital
