21/12/2009 12:04 | That would be great, but maybe a touch opptomistic!!! Give it a few months when everyone's aware of the new company and we've had a resources update, then i think it will get interresting? | giantpeach2
21/12/2009 11:57 | I'm hoping for 5-6p once Afnat start trading. | themoneymonster2
21/12/2009 11:54 | its more of a case of what they are worth on the 23rd dec | giantpeach2
21/12/2009 11:50 | Surely,these are worth more than their current market capitalisaton of £3.3 million??!! | imperial3
21/12/2009 10:46 | Isn't that covered by the Nigerian subsidiaries which were sold for $1 each? The admission document says they decided to divest themselves of all their oil and gas interests; if anything remains I must have missed it, though I admit I only skimmed the document. | zangdook
21/12/2009 09:44 | I think they do. What about the 5% of the oil field related to Equator? | themoneymonster2
21/12/2009 09:36 | "This means that all other projects have been thrown in for free." Do Amber have other projects? I thought they had all been disposed of. | zangdook
21/12/2009 09:32 | So Afnat COULD sell off the Amber share holdings to raise cash. Not sure if it would be considered taking advantage of market conditions though: Bannerman is down from $1.2 to $0.7 after announcing higher than expected mining costs. Extract is trading around $8 having been at $12 earlier this year. LMY has paid approx the value of Amber's shareholdings for the T/O. This means that all other projects have been thrown in for free. Could be a good bit of business, especially if Afnat can wait for share price of Bannerman and Extract to recover before selling. Will be interesting to see what price these start trading at on 23/12. rpm | rastapastamasta
16/12/2009 19:52 | This bit is interesting. "Between the date of this document and Admission, the Amber Directors have agreed to consult with the Existing Directors regarding any potential disposal of any part of the Amber Strategic Investments which they may believe to be desirable in order to take advantage of market conditions." rpm | rastapastamasta
16/12/2009 19:39 | Sorry people, my post was not clear. This is what the document says: "Following Admission, the Enlarged Group will have cash reserves of approximately £1.5 million available to the Directors to fund working capital, finance ongoing work and liabilities in respect of the Group's assets and implement the New Business Strategy" My sums are guestimates based on my reading of the document. My first effort (post 691) was completely wrong. Please don't rely on my sums. rpm | rastapastamasta
16/12/2009 12:56 | LMY should also have around £1.5 million in cash? | themoneymonster2
16/12/2009 12:38 | Thanks for the info Rasta, and I think thats my only worry before topping up at the moment is the placing that will be required to move those projects forward....might just wait until into the new year now and see what happens. Think that we might see something in January with regards to confirmation of the planned projects together with planned financing arrangements......I' Anybody have info on any small junior uranium plays that they may target? the only ones i can think of would be RIO, BHP, EXT, URU, KAH......one day maybe ;-) | gowboy
16/12/2009 11:52 | imperial3 What? | themoneymonster2
16/12/2009 11:48 | Rastapastamasta - don't they both have a cash balance of £1.5mil?? | downturn

15/12/2009 21:14 | Anyone see anything eyecatching in the admission document? | imperial3
15/12/2009 19:20 | No probs with td water, buy all you like! whats market cap at 2.5p a share??? | giantpeach2
15/12/2009 14:05 | Id top up if barcs would let me but not recognising the name still since re-admission. | themoneymonster2
15/12/2009 12:17 | Okay guys whats the catch then - spent ages reading through the admission document last night and cant seem to find one - been holding these since the new board structure came into place and obviously from what theyve been involved in I can see this going places! So someone more intelligent than me tell me whats going to happen to the share price when we become Afnat? Are we going to see an immediate placing? Who we going after to buy then - little BAO could be a target? I'm very very tempted to top up..... | gowboy
14/12/2009 22:25 | Hoping so!!! | imperial3
14/12/2009 19:56 | "The Board is pleased to announce that at a Special General Meeting of the Company held today at 2.00 p.m. GMT (3.00 p.m. local time) in Paris, all resolutions were duly passed. Further to recent announcements, the proposed acquisition by the Company of all of the issued shares of Amber Petroleum Ltd pursuant to the Scheme should now be completed, and the Enlarged Share Capital admitted to trading on AIM, on or around 23 December 2009." A nice slightly early Christmas present! | lizzie ii
14/12/2009 17:09 | yes lets hope so, i will be adding before the 23rd, you can now buy at 2.5p which will seem great in a few months time!!! | giantpeach2
14/12/2009 15:53 | Now we might see some upside! RNS: | themoneymonster2
08/12/2009 09:34 | Yes you have been able to buy within the spread for a year now.... A bit frustrating this price movement but in thrid party hands now Have a look at this one also which i think is the most shocking undervaluation I can find on AIM at the moment - I have put a post on the board which highlights why: | fairdeal2008
07/12/2009 08:44 | Must be a buy, you never get a premium on a sell with LMY. You can always buy within the spread however. | themoneymonster2 |
