sinkyj, There would be no reason that the chairman could not buy even if a huge announcement was expected, as long as nothing firm had been received or confirmed by them prior to his buying. There are always hoped for big orders or announcements of the likes of Homekit but until anything or one is confirmed or signed and sealed they remain pie in the sky.

As for the new CEO - Trump - love him or hate him appeared to do more in a week than the new CEO, having to date failed to dig deep in his pockets and buy in the market fails to inspire imo.

Personally I think sales are now accelerating again due to various planned and unplanned factors. To state the obvious though, I doubt there is a killer announcement to come any time to soon. The chairman wouldn't have been able to buy if so. Homekit products, switches and sockets, maybe 6 months or more away from release yet. That doesn't mean there won't be news release about "approval" orders or some such before then. I just can't see it this month. It's the new man's job to make sure he gathers the team to make sure that time to launch is a short as possible and the launch is smooth and trouble free. A bad launch to Apple may finish the company. By now, I'm looking for a full champagne breakfast, not just jam.

This looks like a very positive statement from Tyman in todays results from them. Could a bid come from them?

"The acquisition of Response has allowed the Division to consolidate its electromechanical offering under a common branding hierarchy with clear distinctions between the ERA trade and retail brands. A new distribution agreement has been signed with Lightwave RF, a smart home automation business, and the Division has made encouraging progress in raising the profile of the ERA and Response brands within the retail channel."

Still got time for CEO to put his hand in his pocket imo however totally agree been waiting far too long for any meaningful news.

The recent activity seems to have come to a halt and the new CEO appears not ready or willing to put his hand in his wallet and buy in the market. That it would appear was left to BG to do, following the appointment of the new CEO. It is always jam tomorrow with LWRF - after all they were once saying Homekit news was expected early 2016 - 1 year later still nothing, and nothing came of the Havells either, so are they likely to improve performance soon?.

I noticed on some social media they were also talking about new products but came out with the same old response - coming soon, cannot disclose sort of reply.

I'm really not sure you can draw that conclusion. The most likely explanation is the company is top heavy, there were more directors than staff. His commercial position was manufactured when Committed moved in their own finance director to replace him. Now there's an extra PLC director, time to remove that position. Being on the PLC board of a company that turns over the same as a corner ship is pretty meaningless anyway. We will have to see what happens to the trading company's board to be sure. At the moment he's still an active officer. Nice to see the new team have updated the Aim-26 information promptly . One area where the company failed miserably is keeping its stakeholders informed as it should. Some interesting names in the shareholder list.

If he is there, it would be a demotion in-effect,so unlikely to stay as clearly he failed to perform in his role and as a director imo.

Not actually sure. Strange to put your cash in then depart, but equally didn't get options in the first round, and as a director at that point should have declared if he had. So that suggests he isn't a big part of the plans moving forward.

Looks like the new money from the last two rounds is well and truly in charge.

My oversight about Tom sinkyj, apologise but is he still there or has he departed?

Tom actually put in 30k of his own cash in the open offer along with Kevin. There was a special resolution just for the two of them to invest. I don't think the failing is with the the contracts signed, it's a lack of, and poor marketing effort both traditional and new media and late delivery of product. Without some of those contracts we would be holding worthless paper. With the two missing pieces we would be rich. The products are good, see the reviews, but now aging. The main issue is they will not sell themselves. A little reflected marketing spend from Amazon and sales were doubled. Imagine what a proper campaign might have achieved. The blame is squarely with the board for not raising more money sooner, mainly the CEO. The share price was 40p with the apple announcement. The majority has been raised at half or below that. What is needed is prompt delivery on both marketing and new products. Everything else is in place. Neither of those were Tom Sykes remit.

I would take Tom Sykes out of that list of those you have faith in sinkyj - Options are that nothing more, and what has he done for sales since he was in the post? We also have no idea if he is still there, unless you can confirm otherwise.

AP, needs to dig deep sooner rather than later imo - waiting might leave the impression that he is unsure of himself when it comes to making this a resounding success.

Still, it is very good to see BG dig in for another 100k as he has repeatedly supported and bought the stock in the market, and at much higher levels.

JS should follow his example as should ML rather than keep drawing the salaries but without aligning themselves with stakeholders.

Good news indeed. Even better news, it was after me!

As far as I can see of the directors we have faith from:

Barry Gamble - Chairman( twice)
Kevin Edwards - CFO (options 80/40p)
Tom Sykes - ex commercial director (Options)
Steve Harris - though Committed capital

No further investment from
John Shermer - CTO (Options (40/80p)
Mike Lord - non exec (options 80p)
Andrew Pearson - New CEO, (options 40p) he's got time yet!

Don`t put the blame on me sinkyj, never mentioned any offshore tax haven.:-) If there is little free stock around at the moment, then expect it to rocket on Homekit news or any decent contract win.

I also notice a flicker of social media news is starting to appear once again.

* As I posted I noticed you had edited it to PU.

Figure of speech,PU. Not meant to be a serious comment. I'll change to Hampshire if I get chance. :-). That address is the CloudPay Company address not ihis home one anyway. Importantly, he appears to have the right background for the company.

Nice to see the share price moving in the right direction, even if it's some of my buys doing it. Seems to be little free stock at the moment.

CT, full time wherever, but in a very small company it's best to be near the action for fully understanding the issues. This isn't Microsoft, this is 20 people on an office. Let's says giving the company his fullest attention and efforts then. And of course if he grows the company I don't give a monkeys either. I just doubt at this stage that is possible from the Bahamas.

It is ability to do the job well, not the time you spend in the office sinkyj. I doubt if most stakeholders give a fig, if the company grows rapidly and returns to profit, thus seeing the share price advance back towards former highs in a short a time frame as possible.

Hopefully not receiving his pay by way of stock, unless of course it is linked to the share price increasing by x% every year.

I think he's been working there a little while. In fairness we don't know what deal he's done regarding salary, he could be taking stock or options in liu of salary to show faith. Personally, I just hoping he's full time and lives withing commuting distance of the company offices.

If the buys today are the new directors, he needs to dig a lot deeper and buy at least 400k in the market imo, not a paltry 150-200k of shares. That is even if it is his purchases, if he wants to convey confidence.
