09/5/2016 17:28 | There should be some news re NEST shortly. | greenrichard
09/5/2016 16:16 | Could be a good week....GLA | gozo
09/5/2016 15:17 | From memory Tuesdays and Thursdays were favourite for RNS's. | gozo
09/5/2016 14:47 | Someone else must be expecting a RNS. Is this the start of a recovery on the back of the AGM. | lady liz
09/5/2016 08:00 | Was hoping for a Monday morning RNS | nar1
06/5/2016 08:28 | I think you'd find all the buying by insiders would've been done long before an RNS was issued clock. For what it's worth...I mention it purely for an interesting insight into a large player in the market announcing a change in strategy....and as I said in my original post a 'pipe dream' | gozo
06/5/2016 08:16 | No rush to buy the stock since the RNS from Centrica Julcester, even though it could be a good punt as you suggested in April - Maybe you have knowledge of something??? As we all know - there has been a buyer picking up stock at around 14p and as there has been no action taken by the company to ensure that sale of over 800k of shares was disclosed, it could be the same this time and more so, if they know there could be a bid coming that they were happy with. We shall see. | clocktower
06/5/2016 07:57 | Hive's heating products look good (apart from individual room control) and we all know the marketing power they have behind them. Their connected home products are weak in the power and lighting areas though which I think are currently our strengths. | gozo
06/5/2016 07:12 | I noticed that. One is a 'customer facing' acquisition of around £150m. | julcester
05/5/2016 15:09 | LOL - Mega for LWRF but petty change for Centica but then it would work for them and they just might pay the top dollar. Hopefully! :-) | clocktower
05/5/2016 15:03 | So mega pocket money then...ok thanks | gozo
05/5/2016 14:50 | Not sure how you would value it at this stage gozo but I would expect the board would not accept any offer unless it was mega as they are in it for the long run. | clocktower
05/5/2016 14:46 | Do you have a figure in mind? | gozo
05/5/2016 13:42 | Nice though gozo but they would only need pocket change to buy this baby. :-) | clocktower
05/5/2016 13:28 | Total pipe dream of course but centrica have announced a placing today in part to fund aquisitions. | gozo
04/5/2016 14:22 | Eastern Europe maybe Zipato (although more central). Nice modular hub product, it has a LightwaveRF module. I saw them earlier this year and told them they were a bit cheeky for reverse engineering the protocol and if they contacted LightwaveRF they would probably help them. They have a nice wall mounted touch control unit that would be very good for buildings management. | sinkyj
04/5/2016 14:07 | Thanks GR - New hub is HomeKit ready, it may be different to when homekit is available though, due to Apple. | sinkyj
03/5/2016 21:05 | Likewise GR - Thanks | nar1
03/5/2016 21:02 | Thanks GR....appreciate your posts. | gozo
03/5/2016 19:23 | Nothing on Homekit atm | greenrichard
03/5/2016 19:22 | Lightwave Link version 2 to be launched soon. Massive improvements and new technology from the current version £175,000 order from PowerDiverter in Australia is dependent on this. | greenrichard
03/5/2016 19:20 | Anything about HomeKit GR? | clocktower
03/5/2016 19:16 | New distributors in UK coming on board soon, including one previous but not current. Not disclosed but my guess is they may fix screws! DETA now promoting to UK Home Build - different brand to Megaman called DETA Connect In talks with Top 5 Insurance companies New Eastern Europe distributor and tech partner | greenrichard
03/5/2016 19:06 | "Which new business segments are you looking at? The past year, we worked a lot on remaking the organisation. The whole lighting industry is transforming into LEDs and because we are a sizable player, it was natural for us to convert into LED. Today, in India, 60 per cent of our lighting business has transformed to LED. We are focusing a lot on solutions for consumers in terms of energy conservation. Lighting turnover is 18 per cent of our business, switchgear contributes 25 per cent of revenue, electrical consumer durables is 25 per cent and the rest comes from cable and wire. We are looking at new opportunities and have intensified our efforts in introducing new products in our core categories. We are also evaluating new opportunities, whether organic or inorganic. We will continue to add products in the renewable segment. There will be lot of energy saving products." | clocktower
03/5/2016 19:06 | 3 shareholders including myself attended the meeting. Havells - On the basis that no-one from Havells is likely to read this, I'll add that ML explained the companies frustration with the Havells relationship. Each time that LWRF have accommodated Havells requirements, they moved the goalposts. They also changed their specification requirements which led to an increase in the original cost agreed. However, Havells have accepted this increased unit cost. On the basis that the specification and cost has been agreed, LWRF have now put the ball firmly back in Havell's court. As soon as they place an order, LWRF have made it clear to them that they are ready to go. | greenrichard |
