Maybe we would be better of going it on our own given the improved trading and future prospects. It would be a shame if were sold too cheap imv. I'd be happy to see it through any short term downside if the deal was pulled.

H1 last year was break-even so being ahead in H1 this year is not a great surprise all things considered. What it tells us about H2 I am rather less sure.

Yes some long welcomed movement this morning. I do hope there will be news soon!

Must be likely, i would have thought, that there are one or two US companies that might be interested in buying them. Especially given the weak Sterling against the Dollar that would make any potential purchase 'cheaper'.

Nice stock to hold at times of uncertainty.

A company that is in discussions with interested parties and they are trading significantly ahead year on year, which should strengthen their negotiating position.

Like others I'm hoping for an update as it's AGM day but happy to be patient.

Rock solid business and should be immune to most market shocks!!!

I was expecting a statement today but obviously a announcement could come anytime from now....


The board expects to be in a position to provide a further update of the strategic review process by the end of June.

I also wasn't anticipating a statement today, they said in the April that they expect to provide a further update by the end of June.

As we know with potential interested parties, discussions can take time with due diligence etc.

LSIC don't regularly release an AGM statement...I certainly wasn't expecting one this morning.

With potential ramifications following today's referendum, I believe it prudent that the company wait until next week to ensure all factors considered.
