If everthing was priced as it should be then whats the point in buying/selling shares?

Investors are continuing to buy & hold LRL as there is a fundemental reason why the demerger happened. Just ask the person who bought 2 million shares yesterday at 1.9p as they might know the reason.

if we forget about the assets and just vaue the company on cash, len is worth 8p and you can buy at 6.5 where as lrl is worth circa 0.07p where as it's priced at double its cash

It was obvious that anybody who had bought lrl yesterday would see the share price drop due to the flotation of LEN.

Anyway why would anybody buy lrl when they have $3m in cash and are trading at 3 times their cash reserve.The gold asset is not worth much as PA did say it was not viable to continue with the project when gold prices were higher than Todays price so it cant be worth pursuing this project at Todays price. The only hope is of an acquisition, so there is potential but its over valued as it stands. LEN has over $35m in cash so that alone values the company at 8p plus a valuable gas asset(surely should be worth another 5p minimum) plus a new bod which includes john manzoni a former bp executive. It's clearly obvious that PA's main focus is on LEN, you can currently buy LEN at 6.5p. I have sold my lrl shares but wont be selling LEN, not for sub 14p anyway. gla

It should rerate as it recovers the decline it suffered due to the self imposed investor relation embargo prior to the split.

Now there will be expectations that this new corporate vehicle will move forward in dynamic fashion.

Yes strange how LRL could only muster 6p for ages now all of a sudden split into two we might get a combination of 10p for the two,nothing has really changed we still have one well flowing albeit small and another that appears to be a failure, funny world this stockmarket also struggling to find a ticker should be LSE:LEN.
