05/12/2014 14:44 | i lost a small amount here, it was a gamble nothing has gone right here for probably 2 years, that tells you something | rcturner2
05/12/2014 14:41 | RCT you seem to think you know a lot buy you really don't. PA is an honest guy, ther eare other companies that are issuing shares at every opportunity, this hasnt been the case with LEN, so the director is an idiot yet he buys £15k worth back in the summer. RCT you make it sound like LEN are on the verge of bankruptcy with no future , which is far from the truth | socktrade1
05/12/2014 14:39 | RCT so you are an idiot? as you were once a shareholder | socktrade1
05/12/2014 14:38 | The BOD are not idiots as they are coining in the cash. The idiots are the shareholders. | rcturner2
05/12/2014 14:36 | " bad news" if there is bad news they will buy back shares.. common sense, even after the interim programme cash remaining will be circa $20m, over 5p , so i cant see this dropping much even with bad news as we have alot of cash and they will most probably buy back shares.. Im sure they are working on a deal, they bid on 3 assets but were not successful, alot of people here seem to think the BOD are idiots, i disagree, i would rather they take their time and buy a decent asset for a cheap price instead of paying over the odds, look at lrl, quite for months and then they get an acquisition, if it was not suspended the share price would have easily multi bagged. Look at other companies on AIM, issuing shares at every opportunity, PA has not done this with this company and we have a low amount of shares in circulation, i believe he has over £500k worth. $25m in cash with an share price of 2p and a market cap of £6m is just silly, i strongly believe we will see 12p, after all 12p is merely a 30m market cap which is not a lot given the cash and potential acquisition. | socktrade1
05/12/2014 14:15 | lol 'good results' that's all they have you should worry about bad news | the stigologist
05/12/2014 13:57 | a nice £5.5k Today, there have been some largish buys recently, this is due a massive rerate.. bring on 12-15p on good results and an acquisition, fingers crossed | socktrade1
05/12/2014 13:56 | They've already told us that it will take until the end of the Year to drill well 8, but do they have to tell us once they actually start drilling the well, perhaps well 8 is already been drilled and results expected by year END | socktrade1
04/12/2014 18:48 | Well if their looking for new projects ,and have cash to spend they may yet come up with something exciting | trotting12
04/12/2014 18:40 | Some big late buys last few days, why are they always at the end of the day ?? | bongostarjr
04/12/2014 14:32 | Do a buyback and raise capital later if they need it. Buying back shares now increases the EV by 50p for every pound spent, guaranteed! ! No oyher investments in the market can do that. So eithet Paul wants all the money for his 500k salary plus 100k bonus, or is incompetent. Both I suspect. Would love to think a deal is around the corner but thats lala land | propunter23red
04/12/2014 14:20 | rvys-i get the feeling you would be happy even if this ends up at 1p? | sos100
04/12/2014 14:04 | ProPunter23Red I guess the answer to your question is that the company still believes there are better uses for the money than buying back its shares. | rvsy38
04/12/2014 11:34 | And why is there no buyback at less than 50% of cash levels....? | propunter23red
04/12/2014 11:33 | Non disclosure is what is killing this company, no transparency or updates. It really isnt that hard Paul, just do the right thing by your fellow shareholders and tell us wtf u are doing! | propunter23red
04/12/2014 10:01 | Just sold up. Totally lost faith in this management team. Have a merry Christmas all. | upthediff
02/12/2014 16:56 | 02/12/2014 and without news! I personally understand that the low share price and silence from the company is simply the result of the asset being written off... They suppose to have an interim testing programme going on at the moment. PIs know that by end of December the interim testing programme will be concluded. if they come end of December with other news then some questions need to be raised by the market. AIMHO | pro_better
02/12/2014 16:22 | another down day ....to a new low level.....what a disaster...even the other half LRL has a Board that is at least doing something...! Maybe it's time they sold the assets and shut this company down and handed the resulting funds to the long suffering PIs who fell fir the hype from PA and the so called "heavy hitters" on the new board....then they can at least try and recoup their losses elsewhere !! | sirraman
28/11/2014 09:43 | IMHO The company's staff annual salaries including bonuses are extremely high for such a small company with the minimum operations going on as per the agreement in place for the asset. Without judging the results/success, the company managed to drill and test only 3 wells and get seismics in 2 and half years! Overall, the company in those 2 and half years spent c.$25m! That is very poor performance by any standards IMHO! So what we got until now IMO: 1) Extremely high cash burn rate comparing to low amount of operations. 2) Inadequate information to PIs about the asset and any potential future value appreciation. 3) Questionable technical and operational capabilities what it needs IMO for the company to attract interest from the market: 1) clear news about continuation of the current asset. 2) sell % of the asset/JV with a third party to lower risks 3) enter into a JV on a new project (operator must be the other company :) ) IMHO If PA can address those points in an efficient and timely manner then yes, we can say there is light at the end of the tunnel. If not, then IMHO the cow is destined to be milked to death. | pro_better
28/11/2014 08:33 | If you think the worst case scenario is that you get your cash back you are incredibly naive. | rcturner2
28/11/2014 08:30 | trade75 three cheers for your sensible post | rvsy38
28/11/2014 08:24 | I wonder if PA owns 12.5% of company(31m shares) , then he should be the one most concerned about share price I don't think he would do anything to harm the company! That's why I believe this thing will eventually come out good. worst case scenario we'll get our cash back which is more than current share price anyway. So don't know whats all the panic!! DYOR | trade75
27/11/2014 18:18 | in hindsight be thankful LEN didn't enter into a deal earlier in the year. More out of luck than judgement I guess. Carnage in market should offer some decent opportunities given assets will become very distressed with oil where it is and likely to crash more. | horndean eagle |
