Despite the presence of certain individuals with their palpable nonsense, the market seems to like things...

Every spike sold into, yet again. I suspect the new owner of 250odd mln shares will want out sharpish ahead of the all but certain fundraise in q1.

They will be taking paper losses on the notional 0.14p cost, but getting all important cash in return, so I can see them selling down to much lower levels to raise their cash.

This remains a strong sell imo.

I wish the Chinaman and the Proff would be friends. I value them both and like reading their views.

One has to ask of the BOD at Debenhams.
If the digital online sales are soaring, as is the case elsewhere, why don't they embrace Omni-channel and dropship technology which is available?
There are major retailers out there saving tens of millions of pounds by using this technology, entitled, I believe "The Edge".
I don't understand it but Debenhams could easily fall behind others.

Well, they have to revamp their lines, embrace technology, sell some of their bricks and mortar stores that the own, and go at least 75% digital.
We've seen Woolies and BHS go under.
Nobody is too big and the digital revolution will see off those who aren't quick enough to embrace the tech on offer.

You'll be whistling for a long time Jon Snow.
John Lewis are at the top of their tree.
Their website is second to none, they embrace the technology and in Waitrose they have a first-class supermarket.
If you want to get rid if tat, the Poundland would get my vote.

This on the comments section of a story run by the BBC about Debenhams this morning.

Good timing!

Looks like the recent shares issued to CfA are being sold into any buying. Still a stupid decision from Zaf especially given that he frittered away the £1m placing money without using it.
