I wish I had done more research before buying shares in this company. The contempt with which shareholders are treated is absolutely appalling. Poor to no communication is the rule. No wonder the share price is languishing. What has happened to the dividend?

Speeds,Very confusing,and also shareholder unfriendly.But if you divide 2.5p by the 74 weeks,and times it by 52,then that gives you a yearly Dividend of 1.75p.So has you say it will not be clarified until ALY,s next update next year.

GC/srp - Not sure we can assume but, seeing as the company seems so loathe to communicate with shareholders, we will probably have to wait until the next interim payment to see whether payments will continue at a reduced level. AFAIAA the board haven't suggested that the payout will be reduced going forward. The latest 0.5p payment is for the reduced 5-month period from 31st Jan to 30th June and follows 2 x 1.0p payments for the 2 preceding 6-month periods, giving a 2.5p payment over the 74 weeks (due to change in accounting periods). Will hopefully become a bit clearer at the time of the interim results which should be released in Q1 2017. Aimho

So by the Final dividend being 0.5p,then the dividend is therefore been reduced by 50%,if next year,s Interim,is also 0.5p.Which is what I predicted.SP should now start picking up.

The Board has recommended a final dividend of 0.5 pence per share. This dividend will be proposed at the AGM on 12 October 2016 and, subject to shareholders' approval, will be paid on 27 October 2016 to all shareholders on the register at the close of business on 7 October 2016. The ex-dividend date will be 6 October 2016.

This should be very good news for high end retailers that have a good
online presence, like ALY. Could aly be a target for John Lewis by

Last year their AGM was exactly 2 months after the release of Final Results + they didn't issue a Notice of AGM prior to the meeting.

Is there any reference to it anywhere on the Investor Relations section of their website e.g. copy of a Notice of AGM that has been sent out to shareholders? (I don't have access to the website from where I am)

Two weeks on from the Final Results, and still no date for the AGM or details of the dividend payment schedule. Investor communications from this company really are very poor in my opinion.
