10/12/2016 22:20 | Non-Opec countries agree to cut oil production by 612,000 bpd. "We are glad to report that the OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting yielded positive results. #OOTT," the ministry said on Twitter." Read more: Dyor coxsmn | coxsmn
05/12/2016 17:52 | Yes I base most of my comments on longer term, a dividend here would do wonders too. dyor | srpactive
05/12/2016 17:47 | Ah. So, much slower rate of progress then. Of course we can't expect the current surge to continue at the present rate for very long, so 200-300p in due course would be fine. I have no real idea when the hoped-for compensation monies might arrive. Has anyone any suggestions? | aimingupward2
05/12/2016 17:26 | Agree, but I am talking longer term 200 - 300p. dyor | srpactive
05/12/2016 17:09 | "Then we should see some upward action." We're seeing upward action now! Plus 20% in the last 2-3 weeks. I'm entirely happy with that rate of progress. | aimingupward2
05/12/2016 16:16 | Chart looking fabulous, golden cross forming as I mentioned last week. Then we should see some upward action. dyor | srpactive
05/12/2016 16:15 | Building up a nice head of steam here; should clear 100p this week. Still miles to go; awaiting compensation deal which should be mega millions. | philjeans

01/12/2016 14:58 | It may be worth recalling history when it comes to OPEC cutting. In late Dec 2008 they agreed to cut 2.2 mil bbls per day. The price had been collapsing to close to $45 pb. But by Jun 2009 (6 mts later) the price was $78 pb. The markets underestimated what even sentiment changing would do for the price. IMO the shorting of all things oil and connected to oil is much greater this time. The outcome thus could be interesting to say the least. JMHO | plunger2
30/11/2016 15:09 | Yes, and hopefully non opec will join in talks next week. Rigs could be getting refurbished or new ones ordered. Good place to be. dyor regards active | srpactive
30/11/2016 15:07 | "With an OPEC production cut deal in place, the new norm for crude prices could be between $50 and $60 going forward."Dyor.coxsmn | coxsmn
30/11/2016 12:48 | Yes agree, oil related shares rising though, Tullow oil up over 10%, if the announcement is oil positive lam could move alot higher. dyor regards active | srpactive |
