Beginning to find some support. Still very undervalued against huge asset base and underlying profitability.

Compensation still to come from subbies errors.

Chart now looking pretty solid.

good places to be in 2017, along with gold miners and gambling of course.

I agree with active about the brokers here. They have not been great. Some of them are just ridiculous - buy at high, sell at low stuff.

Great to see that win with a new CEO on board.

I do not bother with either as I do not believe them.

I read through the rns statements and read any IC comments,
and go from there. Also the very important oil price, which
if we get an opec production cut will help. Higher oil price
more spending on rigs, I see it as simple as that.

That was a ballsy buy, I only get involved when I feel there's momentum evident in the chart. For me, it isn't quite as unequivocal as I'd like yet, so I'm still a bit early. Hence being half in this morning.

Can you point me to any decent broker reports, or other analyst coverage, to support my hunch?

Good chart, please keep posting. I have been here quite a long
time, some of my buys are positive some not so. I decided when it
made the double bottom ( 58p ) in September to start buying and
I have continued to do so.

I am very positive here for next year.

Yes, very promising chart. Just taken a first bite, but want to see how this retrace plays out. Early days for confirmed break out as I'd like to see it sustain the rise over the 200.

Both closed above the above lines mentioned yesterday.

I think this will be one of the best performing stocks
of 2017, as oil related will be bought heavily into.

the 200ma, and the 50 has just crossed the 100dma.

Chart looking very strong now, the 50dma is just about
to cross the 100dma which is very positive.
Also lam has just closed at 78p above the 200dma at 77.58p

Two consecutive closes at 77p, above the important 75.25p
level.

A decent close yesterday above 75.25p, now the past resistance
of 75.25p will hopefully become support, I am expecting a decent
move higher into year end.

Agreed. I hope that Majedie don't sell down anything serious as I was encouraged by their presence.
As for Prudential - enough said.
Hopefully the new CEO helps to produce an order or two. The shenanigans between OPEC members and Russia are unhelpful for the PoO. But things can change very quickly.

How absolutely typical of the big fund managers selling right at the bottom, just as the share price starts to recover and the business has much better prospects!

Two institutions selling up RIGHT AT THE WRONG TIME again.

Yes - good to have them off the market and bought up!

Looking good now for a sustained run beyond 80p.

All recent news has been positive.

I'll keep adding at this price.

My goodness 6.5 mil shares in one trade!! Nearly 2% of LAM.
If they have been hanging around they certainly would have been anchoring the price.
