This has tended to surprise newswise on the downside. Take a look at the recent news.
The oil price rally has not very much further to go IMHO due to capping by shale but will not fall due to Opec.
I'm happy elsewhere.

Excellent, I do feel we might see a little move down
to retest 72p, then hopefully through 75p yo 80p
in short order.

Yes chart looking alot better, moving averages basing nicely,
rsi at around 48 leaves plenty of headroom to go a lot higher.

A break of 75p would be the catalyst to a very strong move higher.

Bid 74.25p - 75p.

Complete chart reversal - pointing north now alright!

I agree 80p; rest; rinse and repeat.

Still near 5 year lows, so still plenty to go, and STILL a bargain imo

There's been a lot of selling this morning and very little buying but the share price has absorbed it and even risen. Bit surprising.

Bid and offer rising now, 72.75p - 73.25p.

I think a close of 75p is possible.

I would have thought the new ceo would have asked
the Lamprell board to release all the bad news before
his appointment. Agree, although I think we will be at 100p
very soon.

I read the RNS as "we've fired our last CEO for poor performance, he'll be staying on for a while so it doesn't look like we're admitting so". We've hired someone else to have a go.

But... share price is recovering so a bit of sentiment is returning. If 72p is broken, I'd expect 80p with relative ease, barring any bad news in the meantime!

They way I try to assess a turnaround situation is what is
likely to be happening in two or three years time.

We know all the positive and negatives that are behind, now
what's ahead is important.

The drillers for new wells in front are starting to get a little busier
and the oil price is rising.

I continue to buy.

For the record I don't believe there will be a turnaround in 2017, there are currently 100's of rigs in storage, and no sign of new rigs being built. Some of the major players are closing facilities.Their best estimates is revenue will be lower in 2017, than just the first half of 2016. That assumption is based on them converting some of the quote bank. They have some of the lowest margins in the industry and still not winning business. The will go a lot lower before it recovers......watch the next 6 to 12 months.Madness to see this as a buy.

About to enter 10 months into the year and they have US90m of orders, as opposed to US 700 to 1B over the past couple of years, that surely has to be a concern. A single competitor has secured 2B of orders this year !So the market maybe turning, but Lamprell look in particular bad shape going forward.

I was never in doubt here, this has got plenty of news ahead of it. BUY 80-100p
