03/5/2016 07:47 | The market is saying that this company can now be bought for 125-150p. Today's announcement just increases the likelihood. With the Chairman and execs having paid £1+ for a good few shares they'll want that price at the least. Absent some decent orders, a takeout before 31/12/16 looks like the outcome. 19/4/2016 15:07 | The abysmal performance of the share price here just begets more selling. You would wonder just what is going on. | plunger2

14/4/2016 07:33 | Looks like another opportunity to buy at a bargain price. | tyroneshares
12/4/2016 16:30 | Oil price is rising. | freddie ferret
08/4/2016 11:11 | Not at all sure about doubling, philjeans. However the share price is well below the net asset value so we can, fairly confidently, expect to see it higher over coming months. The oil price seems not to want to be below $40, so hopefully the worst is over. Fingers crossed! | aimingupward2
05/4/2016 12:31 | Just stupidly undervalued - easy doubler here in a few months. | philjeans
05/4/2016 11:27 | Yes hopefully a bid. | srpactive
05/4/2016 11:04 | Seems quite positive today even though most oil companies negative due to pull back in POO, someone got a sniff of something brewing? Here's hoping...GLA | cheaky monkey

23/3/2016 16:55 | Net Assets = £523m Market Cap = £316m If I were the Lamprells I would not be too happy with the valuation placed on the company by the market! | plunger2
23/3/2016 15:37 | Hi deanowls I think the issue over the dividend was that there was no firm commitment to resume paying one any time soon, given the cash position and the continuing profitability that suggests mgt are either bricking it about the future and putting a brave face on it , or more likely not unduly concerned about private shareholders who in the main look to dividends as much of the compensation for the risk of holding the equity. Personally I would have been happy with a clear statement saying that "unless the market worsens further we envisage paying a dividend at x% of FCF for 2017"...or similar. | rhomboid
23/3/2016 13:50 | To be fair they have long said they will not pay a dividend this year. | deanowls
23/3/2016 09:10 | I think your analysis is fair. I'm not selling yet. There remains the possibility of a corporate deal. They are well managed, well located, cash rich and workload flexible. The absence of even a (token) dividend is ridiculous. Compare HTG, PFC etc. If nothing emerges corporately in next few months most PIs will throw in the towel. I would not blame them. 23/3/2016 08:54 | I've sold my modest holding here this morning for a number of reasons , firstly the drop in the order book was larger than I'd hoped and the static bid pipeline will be slower to convert in the current climate, secondly I'd hoped for more success from their vendor finance programme, this appears to pretty much zip so far. There also appeared to be a less positive tone re the Saudi deal than in the January RNS Finally I'd rather get my oil and gas exposure with a dividend attached whilst I wait and there was no sign of vote of future confidence via dividend resumption here. I'm sure Lamprell will do well but I'm hoping for better elsewhere. Cheers | rhomboid
23/3/2016 08:14 | Good results. Company in excellent shape. Absence of a dividend yet again will cause selling. The Chairman is a prudent man and one for rigour - it's hard to fault. But when a p/e of 8 with a reasonable outlook and loads of cash produces yet more selling you would have to question the wisdom of this "prudence". JMHO GLA | plunger2

22/3/2016 15:24 | full year results due tomorrow, some people reducing their risk today? the guidance is (in-line) so hopefully no nasty surprises. Will look to top up on any dips as this is a sound long term investment imo. Good luck all holders CM | cheaky monkey
08/3/2016 13:29 | This is the fifth straight day of rising, I am expecting a little retrace before rising towards 120p, results due on the 23rd. If it does retrace to 100p level, I will probably top up a little more. dyor regards active | srpactive
