22/9/2015 07:36 | Wow - £4.30 per share that would be very welcome. Sadly it is 4.4p per share. Ex dividend 4/11/15 Pay day 5/12/15. CH. | churchtower
22/9/2015 07:28 | Guys the next dividend is due Early Nov at circa £4.30 per share can you confirm this is correct please? | tidy 2
22/9/2015 07:25 | PM - I would anticipate a trading update in four weeks time. Just be patient most shares spend 90% of the time drifting and 10% actually going in a positive or negative direction. I think Laird is standing up well in the present trading climate. CH. | churchtower
21/9/2015 17:47 | Hugely disappoint with current Sp performance. Is it linked to Apples performance or is it just market makers messing around. I thought we would have a run up to ex div date. | philipmidgley
10/9/2015 10:29 | Added a few more this morning. I remain confident of Laird's future prospects and with the healthy dividend I regard it as a core holding. CH. | churchtower
09/9/2015 11:51 | FWIW I think it is near the end of its trade range between 350 and 400. If we see 350 again I think that will be the last time before it attempts 400 for the third time. If it breaks out and closes above 410 then we're off. Based on the last consolidating pattern between Feb and Aug '14 it could do this in the run up to christmas in which case this is probably the lowest it will be. This is all based on charts so take it or leave it. For the fundy's PE is around 19 as at today which is a bit racey but if earnings come in at the end of this year at or around forecast then this could be justified. If this also generates strong cash flow then the current low yield of 3.8%ish could be pushed up a bit or stabalised if there is scope to up the divi. To me it all points in only one direction. | brancho
08/9/2015 21:39 | A little disappointed, I thought £4.20 was on the cards. Where is this share going in the next 2 months. Any views? | philipmidgley
08/9/2015 08:34 | and down 6.48%? No obvious news on Laird, so looking to China I see the index is +2.92% up, but "China's August imports fall 14.3% on oil prices." That surely can't be the reason, perhaps a big holder selling shed loads? ..bounced up to only 1.2% down whilst typing this...I'll keep typing and see if it gets in to +ve territory BKCKASDV DFVBADVDVBFDKBDFABDA ..no that's it for now. ;-) | dr_smith
08/9/2015 08:19 | i note you could drive a bus through teh bid/offer spread this morning | el chupacabra
12/8/2015 16:35 | I'll try a link to Interim results presentation: hxxp://www.laird-plc | dr_smith
12/8/2015 15:44 | I would recommend contributors and visitors to this thread, if they have not already done so, to view the 2015 Interim Results Presentation on 30th July. Pages 20 - 23 set out in a simple form Laird's involvement in five main areas of "The Internet of Things". This should I believe assist potential investors as to Laird's activities and potential growth prospects. This document can be found by accessing the Laird Technology website and searching within the Investor Relations section. CH. | churchtower
10/8/2015 18:44 | Add back the div then it's back to its 52 week high. Looking for a little run up before ex div date. 4.25 would be nice. | philipmidgley
05/8/2015 14:36 | Resistance appearing at the psychological level of 400. Once this evaporates we may well see a decent move up again. CH. | churchtower
31/7/2015 09:30 | Profit taking bound to affect the price at this level. Worth comparing Telit Communications another Company involved in the "Internet of Things" which I also hold - Telit has currently a PE of 44.90 and no dividend whilst Laird has a PE of 21.7 and and a 3.15% yield. If Laird should be viewed in the same light then this is a £5 share in the not too distant future IMO. I remain a strong holder and buyer on weakness. CH. | churchtower
