02/6/2015 12:47 | The following news items over the last two months are all indicating further growth for Laird - Laird was featured in the wrap-up publication from the anual Electronic Design Show in Las Vegas. The winning design was for the BT900 series Bluetooth modules. The annual ECN IMPACT Awards recognize the products and services with the greatest impact on the electronic components industry. Laird’s BT900 series of Bluetooth modules was selected because it quickly, easily and affordably provides wireless freedom to devices across a range of industries. A recent report regarding the "Thermal Materials Market" states that this market will grow at a CAGR of 11% over the next five years. That report also names Laird as a key player in the market. An article titled "Laird wired for growth," writen for the financial publication, InvestorsChronicle, talks about how Laird is well positioned to grow as the demand for consumer electronics continues to "skyrocket." The May 7th article says Laird is "investing heavily in building its leading position in exciting end markets..." . Laird goes XD (8.3p) at the end of this week. I cannot imagine why anyone is selling at the moment CH. | churchtower

27/5/2015 19:18 | A little disappointed with the run up to ex div. After the big rise it's lost momentum. What's its going to take to push this share through £4.00. Any thoughts? | philipmidgley
19/5/2015 08:00 | This article is worth reading - "Ten FTSE 350 stocks for dividend growth investors". Contributed by Stockopedia on May 13th and to be found at uk.finance.yahoo.com | churchtower
18/5/2015 09:30 | This morning UBS cuts to neutral from buy but raises target from 365 to 400. Strange sort of contradictory recommendation. I treat recommendations by UBS with some scepticism. They have a history of such recommendations over the past years. Exactly the same at 204p and earlier at 185p. CH. | churchtower |
