bubble pricker: I attended last night's presentation. The respresentatives of FDI and KDD made a poor show, both saying they did not understand the fall in the share price. This was despite the fact that the reasons were spelled out for them clearly in the questions: Shareholders are concerned that management are preoccupied with a corporate merger rather than developing the projects and generating cash, and that the shareholders will never see the value of the projects, because by the time they are financed, the equity will have been diluted out of existence.

123asd: Wendy - I don't disagree with your assessment of AIM punters, I only dispute the influence you ascribe them in determining the share price. Time and again I've seen the share price of AIM explorers with no earnings repeatedly trashed, no matter what their potential or asset value. Only when they are producing something that provides steady income do they achieve some kind of stability. We've been disappointed in KDD in this respect several times already, but I do think that with this FDI hook-up, we are at last about to achieve such a state. That's assuming we are not bought out.

arf dysg: pembury, you have got your share-price history wrong: (7645) "Cheer up Kopane holders its not like you now get to hold a stock that has done nothing but go south for the last two years. oh yes it is" Thank you so much for rubbing salt into the wounds of long-term share holders. BUT... So you think Kopane's share price has gone down over the last two years? Want to guess what the share prices were? Late July 2008: 7.5p Late July 2010: 12p That doesn't look like "down" to me. If you want to gloat at others' misfortune based on the facts, why don't you compare the experiences of: (a) some normal long-term share holders (price halved in three years) and (b) Frank Scolaro (price leaped upwards in 18 months).

moneyman18: Based on REAL prices on a conversion NOW at FDI 29p your KDD shares would be worth 12.75p and NOT 17p as they tell you; KDD price needs to fall to below 8P now to offer holders the deal RATIO that is in the RNS

arf dysg: If any KDD representative tells you it's 17p, they're wrong. Notice there's a difference between these two: NOT from the RNS item: values each Kopane Share at 17 pence, REALLY from the RNS item: values each Kopane Share at 17 pence, based on a Firestone share price of 36.5 pence.

wh0sthedaddy: from the RNS: ·      The Acquisition is to be effected by means of a scheme of arrangement under Part 26 of the Companies Act and values each Kopane Share at 17 pence, based on a Firestone share price of 36.5 pence. If it's not 36.5p, KDD won't be 17p... i'm hanging on to my shares but this is one of the most pointless deals (given the time it has taken) I think I have ever seen.

wdurham: I missed this announcement yesterday - and on reading it today, I find I don't like it at all. The only good thing about it is the lack of impact on the price, which seems to indicate that Scolaro found willing buyers for his KDD stock and got a very good price! Which could explain the series of matched large trades at the same price that we have seen over the last few days. Other than that, it indicates that there is nothing going on which might be construed as price sensitive; that there is definitely no news imminent about third party negotiations; and that Scolaro sees no probability of KDD price appreciation in the near future, or he would have waited. Obtala can't be THAT short of cash. The only circumstance in which I can see him NEEDING to sell the KDD stock is if he needs the cash for an acquisition that is time-sensitive. Conflict of interest is now very clear.

ericthecat: Frank is on the BoDs of both companies. He wants KDD share price up and development for the project. The best way is to get a company to buy in then they announce partnership to fund the project, the share price explodes and evryone is a winner? Seems the most likely to me???

bigdog5: Hey Beeksy, what a sniveling little osser you are. You post absolute garbage on GKP intent on causing trouble but then stop me from posting a reasonable comment on KDD. Still, i shall get some enjoyment watching KDD share price fall. 6p looks to have some support.

andrbea: so obt needed the cash for its own reasons no reflection on kdd bit like a 'forced seller' syndrome which should imply strength to the kdd share price IMO
