Kolar Gold Limited (LON: KGLD), the AIM-quoted India gold exploration and mine development company, announces that following the completion of its fundraising in July this year and the appointment of a new executive management team, Harvinder Hungin, Chairman, is stepping down from the Board and leaving the Company with immediate effect to pursue other interests. Kolar Gold intends to appoint a new Chairman over the coming months in line with progress of its strategic plan.
The Company thanks Harvinder, who has been Non-Executive Chairman of the Company since its listing on AIM in June 2011, for his time and effort during his tenure and wish him well in his future endeavours.
