Yes, hang on to the view that this is becoming an income share. I don't understand these big swings in share price, but, as with the rest of the market, post the coming Greek default and into next Spring it will all look a lot more positive.

tg2 I share your sentiments completely but unless there are people bidding for the shares being sold who's to know what the market value of the share is? Even at these low levels, there appears to be no interest in buying so what are the MMs supposed to do if there are only sellers? I anticipate that the dividend will be maintained and probably increased so this share is beginning to look not all that bad by today's standards even as an investment for income.

Spekky....Ive been saying for ages how these daft 1000 share sell deals have been knocking 3.3p and the like off of share price There's something very suss about the way this share is getting treated...look at the graph...from nearly a £1 down to under 80p on no bad news whatsoever...disgraceful to say the very least

Never ceases to amaze me how just a few days ago 800k trade without a flicker to the share price and then todays paltry volume knocks it for six...... :-(

Its only part of the story IMHO,more info to come I think.More than 800k shares changed hands yesterday but I suppose the 2 x 300k could be opposite sides of one deal.I think that many shares must have found a home, we just need to know who's got them.

EDIT...Her previous sell was 4 days before a very good performance update so I dont think her sells are related to any info she may have.AND...Later in feb we were told that Amati Global had acquired a large holding in KIO so it may be part of a similar process.

She did the same thing in February. Seems like a regular disposal plan.

""Kiotech was notified on 29 September 2011 that Ms Helen Teasdale, the wife of Richard Scragg, a director of the Company, sold 94,299 shares in Kiotech on 28 September 2011 at 84.5p per share.

These shares were part of the consideration paid to acquire Optivite Limited and Optivite International Limited in October 2009. ""

Not quite sure how to see this - doesn't seem to be a great vote of confidence.

There are way too many shares exchanging at just below mid so.....

a. Is someone/insti accumulating?
b. Is it just an orderly transfer between instis?
c. Is it the b.o.d. transferring their shares into SIPPs ?
d. Is it just something to do with yesterdays "bonus" ?
e. Is KIO buying its own shares again?
f. Is Bayer buying a strategic stake ?

Got to be RNSs due sometime soon IMHO...

So,to put it another way,NO PAIN AND PLENTY OF GAIN (potentially).......even with the option scheme they would have to dip into their own pockets (still a no-brainer)........Its no wonder they dont buy on the market like the rest of us......GGGRRRRR !!!!

This time last year Karen Prior bought shares in KIO.Since consolidation no member of the b.o.d. has bought any.I think that may be a problem for any potential investors who are currently "sitting on the fence".
