21/10/2008 09:10 | lol, are you all alone here al? ...im still in, but only small, cant see any apparent reason for todays rise, other than general recovery for KIM. we all know that this is possibly under valued, and they have made significant strides in attempting to increase production and improve efficiencies, but will that translate into a profit? we will see the bottom line when the results come out... | ceckyspunt
21/10/2008 08:58 | anyone watching these or in them? | hyper al
21/10/2008 08:51 | Remember we have strong links with DWYKA RESOURCES LIMITED, they own 48% of Kimcor. BHP have a 10% equity stake in 100% Dwyka owned Danyland. Maybe BHP will be the first to know about any major Kimcor discovery. Obviously Dwyka will do it's best for Kimcor. Certainly would be nice if BHP took a stake in Kimcor. | hyper al
21/10/2008 08:38 | rocketing, any news? | hyper al
21/10/2008 08:38 | "KimCor Diamonds PLC: Company Insight Report" report released on 18 October 2008 could be the reason for some buying | hyper al
21/10/2008 08:29 | The Company's results for the 15 months ended 30 June 2008 will be published by 31 October 2008. | hyper al
21/10/2008 08:26 | nice rise again! | hyper al

08/10/2008 22:05 | The Mullagh - There appears to be something brewing as the price is moving against the depressed market which is unusal for this share | teemore
08/10/2008 19:30 | We know they have generally been late with results. Mabe they meant September 2009, when the market may be more receptive to results. | the mullah
05/10/2008 19:57 | Just a reminder of the previous exploration updates which there hasnt been any further updates on since. Bosele ------ DEC 2007 - Bulk sampling of the structure resulted in the recovery of diamonds and the Group is currently planning an exploration drilling programme to commence in the fourth quarter of 2008. Tanzania -------- APR 2008 - Exploration shafts sunk on the 2.33 hectare Itanana pipe in Tanzania have intersected kimberlite at shallow depths. Two of the shafts have intersected kimberlite at shallow depths whilst the third shaft has been deliberately sited on the margin of the pipe to provide access to mineralisation at depth. The Company considers this target to be highly prospective and intends to expand this work with a view to obtaining bulk samples. On the 7 hectare Mahene pipe, 2 exploration shafts have been sunk to 6 and 10 metres. Based on drill data, kimberlite is expected to be intersected at depths of around 50m below overburden. The current plan remains to establish horizontal tunnels from the exploration shafts to provide a representative sample for bulk test work. | dcroston
04/10/2008 13:38 | An earlier post mentioned that AFD owned equity in KIM but to my knowledge I don't think that is true. Here is a list of all major shareholders. Martyn Churchouse* 8,750,000 3.13% Gordon Riddler 150,000 0.06% Manish Kotecha 400,000 0.15% Coffee House Group Limited 11,878,526 4.43% Credit Suisse Client Nominees (UK) Limited 6,000,000 2.24% HSBC Global Custody Nominees (UK) Limited 5,341,500 1.99% Michael Johnson 4,300,000 1.60% Metal Resources Limited 3,450,000 1.29% SVS (Nominees) Limited 3,449,500 1.29% Rene Nominees (IOM) Limited 3,333,333 1.24% Pershing Keen Nominees Limited 2,975,000 1.11% DWYKA 129,333,718 48.21% Montagu 32,300,000 12.04% Also, KIM also announced a whileback that they had commenced bulk sampling at Tanzania and expected results in September this year, so maybe that could be the reason for the buying. | dcroston
03/10/2008 11:20 | I was told again by KIM person that should no more by Thursday and news out Friday. EDIT: seems I have been misinformed for a second time.....very frustrating indeed. | dcroston
03/10/2008 11:20 | Could just be a case of having been vastly oversold, no particular news.... | 123asd
03/10/2008 11:04 | Can someone explain? Dwyka own around 50% of KIM. Yet while KIM shares have trebled or more the DWY share price keeps falling and is down again today. Why isn't the DWY share price rising too? Or is the KIM rise the result of a few speculative buys prompting more speculative buys? Hope that is not the reason for the rise and that we will soon get positive news to justify it. Also who said that we should expect news from KIM today? | kenmitch
03/10/2008 10:48 | and no trades either | bigwilly1986
02/10/2008 14:14 | Much quieter today - perhaps the pre-news buying is over? Hope it IS tomorrow, I'm really intrigued as to what has triggerered thhe rise | bigwilly1986
01/10/2008 17:40 | should here something by Friday I am told. So, if something good is in the offing for KIM, then it might be last chance for those thinking of jumping in cheap to do so. | dcroston
01/10/2008 14:12 | let's hope so Hyper. This rise MUST be due to insider knowledge of good things, no? It's always the case with tiny AIM companies. | bigwilly1986
01/10/2008 14:00 | I think KIM has lots of Diamonds in the ground and has all the equipment needed to extract them. At some point the market will take note. Maybe it's just started. | hyper al
01/10/2008 12:00 | Cecky, bought a few anyhow ( I have a Diamond share folio with other shares eg PDL). FABIUS most interesting, re APF.. many thanks for that sir H. | hectorp
01/10/2008 11:36 | FAO Hectorp/Cecky I picked up your notes on the SEY BB re KIM. Cecky. I remember you from the early days and your disenchantment with 'Churchmouse'. I hold the stock. Hectorp - I know you held APF at one time. I would add that APF also held a sizeable holding of KIM on their books last time I checked. I rate APF very highly indeed. Shrewd management and sound fundamentals. In fact I have just topped up. It may not add up to much. Nevertheless, I have no doubt they have access to better information than us. Given the track record, that would not be too difficult. F1 | fabius1 |
