Apologies QP. But the contrast between your posts 218 and 225 was too delightful to ignore! There are many idiots posting on ADVFN, so it's sometimes difficult to see the genuine wood from the trees, particularly regarding a poster I'm unfamiliar with.

If you read the thread you'll see I've been posting here for a LONG time, and am a very happy shareholder - and I was the first to post about today's acquisition today, which you evidently missed.

You don't understand.

Being overbought is a market circumstance. Being excellent, exciting and a hidden gem is a company specific set of circumstances.

They are entirely different.

Maybe you didn't see the RNS announcement of a very large acquisition today which is brand new information and which changes things a lot.

don't ruin this thread with snide comments.

Worth noting that a share in the technical term 'over-bought' can stay this way for weeks/months/years sometimes.

Numis have raised their target price to 310p (from 275p):



OT : QuePassa was noting yesterday that the chart for KWS said "overbought". Overnight QuePassa now says KWS is "excellent" and "exciting", and a "hidden gem". It seems charts aren't much use in predicting what companies do with their cash piles and adjusting for Balance Sheets, company ambition etc etc.

This looks like an excellent company.

The CEO impresses.

Very exciting sector, over-ripe for consolidation and the emergence of a dominant player - which Keywords appear to be fast becoming.

A hidden gem on AIM.

No wonder the company says the acquisition will be immediately earnings enhancing. I know it is a tendency for most companies to state this when making an acquisition, but in this case the numbers given in today's RNS back up this statement.

Once the numbers are crunched and PSR ratio and margin figures are worked out and compared, today's news should provide a powerful new catalyst imv.

Wow - a superb and LARGE acquisition...

KWS now the "global leader in localisation and voice-over recording for video games world-wide"...and lovely and earnings-enhancing too, with €18m paying for €2m PBT, so pretty cheap:



I can see this stock going a long, long way over time. One to hold and hold hopefully.

Agreed. Looks overbought to me.
It would not surprise if the recent rapid rise may or may not spur profit-taking.

We believe that Keywords is the largest dedicated video game technical services
outsourcing company globally, by revenues and breadth of service offering. This
scale provides a competitive advantage in what continues to be a very fragmented
industry. Large multinational video game developers are increasingly rationalising
their outsourcing partner lists and are looking for companies that can deliver an
integrated offering at a high level across services and geographies.

It is fairly similar in content to the Proactive Investors interview, flagged yesterday, but there are some additional new nuggets of information.

In particular, Andrew Day confirms that Keywords does indeed have a leadership position in the sector. There is no other competitor with its strengths and offering anything like the same range of services. I suspected that, but was not sure; now I am!
