25/11/2010 06:46 | Timely proposals by UKTP...FT reports. "There have been relatively few mergers and acquisitions in the UK technology sector this year. However, bankers and private equity groups said they expected to see more acquisitions within the software and services sector in the next six months." | erpguru
19/11/2010 12:54 | Well finally something sensible, they must have heard me. What happened with KWL was just ridiculous. Under the new proposals by the UK Takeover Panel, potential buyers would be named in the announcement commencing an offer period, and must announce a firm intention to make an offer or not within four weeks of the start of the offer period. | gerdmuller
18/11/2010 14:31 | Slipped a bit. | freddie ferret
15/11/2010 21:40 | Yes. Lively market for technology mergers as companies seek to broaden their product portfolios. Also the PE boys have pent up funds (that must be spent or returned) . | erpguru
15/11/2010 13:30 | kwl remains a bid target and more likely if price weakens. | tratante

29/10/2010 23:38 | Yemen packages.End of day pricing... U.S. Customs Automated Commercial System (ACS) - Kewill CargoPoint clears packages. | erpguru
28/10/2010 13:31 | Seems a quiet market for most companies of this type. Still holding these but if the spread is to be believed I'm not surprised not much is happening. | gerdmuller
28/10/2010 07:58 | Blackrock have reduced further - now below 5%. | gerardp
28/10/2010 00:19 | Blackrock... another KWL nibble? There's pressure on PE funds to do deals or return funds by year end. | erpguru
26/10/2010 08:40 | Interesting to see who has picked up the blackrock stake. | loafofbread

11/8/2010 10:47 | Mixed feelings - disappointed but happy that management did not sell out at such a low offer. Will the institutions keep holding or bail out? | gerardp
11/8/2010 10:37 | Agree this was a scandalous offer, glad to see it fail even if that means a bit of pain in the short term. Kewil is worth much more. | tratante
11/8/2010 09:43 | Just looked on Dow Jones at what the press are saying and very little coverage. We seem to have a situation where a company can come in and make a bid and disrupt a company for 3 months and then just walk away without being identified. This lack of information is scandalous. The UK takeover laws are just ridiculous if this sort of thing is allowed to take place. Sent email to company last week saying offer was far too low but have had no reply. | gerdmuller
10/8/2010 18:09 | Fits SAP's new mobile app strategy...wheres my stuff...SAPwill | erpguru |
