Posted at 07/8/2014 16:09 by spudders Riv, cheers for the heads up on those, I'm looking to reinvest KENZ cash somewhere. I know you have CAR which at last is turning around :) Take a look at PTR might be worth running the slide rule over, I have held since 2007 so underwater at the mo but it's looking like things are changing with a big player taken on half the license. |
Posted at 30/6/2014 09:17 by rivaldo Interesting little bubble up in the share price first thing this morning.Nice interview here - but it serves to advertise the savings possible for any predator for KENZ. With the deal not complete yet will anyone else step up to the plate? |
Posted at 10/6/2014 23:01 by alter ego Whizzy1, the market cap is just what it would cost to buy every share in a company. So, a higher share price means a higher value whereas issuing more shares simply makes each one worth a bit less unless something else adds value. The usual driver of value is earnings, eps. If you can double your eps, you should expect to double the share price. That'swhy companies that are growing fast have higher p/e ratios than those that are growing slowly. The market ascribes a higher rating to high growth companies because itvexpects the share price to be higher in future based on higher earnings.Kenz Is thought by some, including me to be under rated. It expects eps to grow by 45% but has a p/e ratio of 12ish which isnt reflective of that and suggests the market doesnt believe the growth will happen. We will have to see but if kenz does achieve impressive growth in eps, the share price will adjust IMO. |
Posted at 10/6/2014 07:50 by rivaldo Lovely long-term work through to 2016. Plus good to see KENZ getting into wastewater facilities.KENZ continues to do rather well :o)) |
Posted at 28/5/2014 08:29 by whizzy1 aaaaand just topped up again with my divi payment too, about time!Just to add, on trades it looks like a lot of small and frequent buys are coming in, I'd guess that's PIs dividends being reinvested too. Also in the news: Kentz Co. Limited (LON:KENZ)'s stock had its "buy" rating restated by equities research analysts at Canaccord Genuity in a research note issued to investors on Tuesday. They currently have a GBX 850 ($14.31) target price on the stock. Canaccord Genuity's price objective suggests a potential upside of 22.57% from the stock's previous close. |
Posted at 26/5/2014 15:50 by cumnor Thanks guys for link, very upbeat on Kenz. Hopefully mgmt have it in them to turn these increasing revenues into substantial profits and hopefully propel Kenz into FTSE100 in a few years which is perfectly achievable imo. |
Posted at 23/5/2014 13:39 by rivaldo Just got an e-mail from - about Zulu stocks coming back into fashion - KENZ comes off rather well. I hold KENZ and RNWH of the stocks mentioned and held TRI previously:"Zeroing in on Zulu stocks with the StockRanks For - subscribers, here's a fork of the current Zulu screen with the full set of StockRanks in the table view. With these on display it's possible to get a general insight into the overall Quality, Value and Momentum (QVM) characteristics of each company on the list. In -'s soon to be released 1-year StockRank performance results, companies ranking in the top 5% of the market produced a market-trouncing average return of 33%. Among those qualifying now is South America based oil and gas group Amerisur Resources (LON:AMER) with the lowest PEG of just 0.22. It is followed by engineering group Kentz (LON:KENZ) with a PEG of 0.33 and an exceptional StockRank of 95/100 - meaning that on a blended range of QVM measures, it ranks in the top 5% in the market. In terms of StockRanks, Kentz is only bettered by Renew Holdings (LON:RNWH) and Trifast (LON:TRI), which make the grade as Zulu GARP stocks with StockRanks of 98 each. You can see the original Jim Slater Zulu Principle screen here." |
Posted at 16/5/2014 10:11 by cumnor Just a concerted lull in midcaps with City shaking out jittery and extended PIs and traders to pick up cheap stock. No reason-great businesses like Kenz and others at bargain prices-these will multibag in a few years. Volume says it all. Those with patience and money happy to see this. Traders and the leveraged lose out. Kenz as a business is flying-i invest on that basis. £30plus in a few years. Imo |
