I did say I would not hold my breath. This smacks of a calculated nudge by the EG, just to ensure 'mates in time' produces the best possible margins for the locals. It wont be long now before funding is released (next week?) imo.

Well last week I managed to buy at .66 & .67 - even though the news today has dropped the share price lower than last week I've struggled to get more at those prices (unless of course we drop further today).

I think today = Capitulation

Buy order placed. Calm down. One admin hurdle, let them sort it out. Pressure is clearly on them. You can't travel around and tell the world your country is open for business and then mess it up. If they do then they can close their department for mines straight away. Nobody will touch the country with a barge pole for many years to come..

Think it is the government hence the timing of the article coming out now they probably got the nod from Kefi and/or the government hence the title Ethiopia is open for business.

Would be more worried if the problem was ANS or people being reluctant to move. Looks the company is having a webinar if there was anything insurmountable would they still be having that and asking people to ask questions?

The UK went through austerity for years because of the dire straits of the the finances. We should have done this as soon as working capital was only available from absolute shysters. Harry said long haul flights are taken first class. Presentations to mining conferences have clearly yielded nothing. One of the questions I have posed for tomorrow is who paid for ANS & GOE representatives to go to present in Australia & what was the total bill to Kefi for the entire trip. If not already done, directors should volunteer to just draw the very minimum salary that they can subsist on.

Can't say I am surprised there is no trigger.

For all the hype, acclaim, fanfare and trumpets signalling 'this month' is it..

The very Government Department proclaiming HAA & Kefi are First Movers in a golden new age of Mineral Recovery in Ethiopia, there is still a documentary process that has not been fulfilled. (I'm sure there is a statement on the Kefi website about 'every licence requirement being met).

Let alone the ramifications & knock on effects of failing to meet the October deadline casting doubts about investment from London Finance Markets.

Still 3 days of trading to go... Maybe there IS time to get another rubber stamp before the deadline passes. Or another dilution.. what a novel idea..

Up to date as at 18th September.

Directors, other employees and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMRs) 9.0%. Math 845m current shares in issue total (minus 79m issued since the 18/9/19) and ALL the Directors holdings total NO MORE THAN 69 million shares.

Pendantic or not there is no way, NO WAY HAA holds ALL the sweets in the Directors box.

Even with the dilution from the 18th September, there is NO way that HAA holds the amount of shares that Goatherd states.

Unless (cue the tinfoil hat time..) the Loan Finance Benefactor is the wife of HAA.

Estseon, as mentioned earlier this was all said in Perth to Mining Review. It is old news.

We await the new, 'good' news that enables us to announce, on Friday, we do indeed have first mover position in modern Ethiopian mining...

Goatherd, your breakdown of Harry's buys are more detailed? You say they average just shy of 10p? That he has well over 10% of the company despite the recent dilution?

That he's put in almost a million pounds? I will stand completely corrected if that is so. When was his first significant buy? Did he not buy in Aussie dollars?

Feel free to not bother if you'd rather...it is of little import now as I expect even your support would be tested if ANS and Harry provide more excuses. If so, maybe there is another ditch going begging...

From the link (thanks WHATnow1)

"The onset of construction at Tulu Kapi – a 140 000 ozpa gold mine scheduled to start producing in 2021 – will at US$250 million be the largest single export revenue generator in the country. It is situated 360 km west of Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa.

The government’s aspirations are in the right place and should enable investors to consider the country open for business says KEFI Minerals chairman Harry Anagnostaras-Adams.

“We would like to express our appreciation of the enormous efforts made by the ministry of finance, the Ethiopian central bank and other authorities to establish regulatory frameworks to oversee and support policies and actions being dealt with for the first time, as the Tulu Kapi gold project fulfills its first-mover position in modern Ethiopian mining.”"

"Onset" of construction ?

The aggregate principal amount of the New Loan Facility is GBP1.5 million, I make it GBP1.198M of this has been converted to shares since 05.08.2019, and GBP296.5K of fees, this leaves a possible 302K left to be converted if we have drawn it all down ..

The conversion price is calculated at the lower of 90% of the lowest VWAP of a KEFI Ordinary Share as shown on the London Stock Exchange for the three trading days immediately preceding the notice of conversion from the provider.. this is why the share price is getting driven down on every conversion..

An 0.59p issue on Friday this week, unless we see another lower conversion beforehand..

I have totted up all the purchases of shares Harry has reported to have made since 2014. He was not reported to have made any sales.

The total is 95,422,889, at a cost of £926,378, or 0.9708p. each

I feel that is called "having some skin in the game"!

and to think HAA got annoyed at the so called finance being called "death spiral". So much for him being a genius at raising finance, when he can't even fathom or appreciate how dsf's operate.
