24/10/2019 10:37 | I think the market correctly discounted ANS never parting with a cent.. talk is cheap even in Ethiopia... end of October is fast approaching... another missed deadline??? not long til we find out... roll up roll up!!! | pjj71
24/10/2019 10:33 | Goatie. So let's come at it from our situation. We desperately need working capital. It's pretty much the only thing that keeps us being a going concern. We come to an agreement with ANS that the money's due in August 2018. We'd already been forced into bed with Lanstead. If Harry couldn't negotiate an upfront payment of say $5million equivalent from ANS at that stage, why oh why couldn't he negotiate it at the time of issuing a "money back guarantee"? Failing to do this has led to all of the dilution that we've suffered since, as far as I can tell. | taxlosstone

24/10/2019 08:54 | im guessing the locals wallets have remained firmly closed.... meanwhile the loan shark continues to make a fantastic profit, Harry rakes in another day of hefty pay and the shareholders see a wipeout of whats left of their equity... the life of kefi | pjj71

24/10/2019 07:20 | The orientation of the deposit will depend upon earth movements since it was laid down and I expect that that is one of the things that they want to determine for their modelling of it. | estseon
24/10/2019 06:04 | VMS - "Most VMS deposits show metal zonation, caused by the changing physical and chemical environments of the circulating hydrothermal fluid. Ideally, this forms a core of massive pyrite and chalcopyrite around the throat of the vent system, with a halo of chalcopyrite-sphaler So looks like the first drill hole was aimed at the throat and work out from there to gauge structure and composition. Any subsequent drills may be angled to try and intersect relative known structural zones. | scars
23/10/2019 23:30 | I feel it important to emphasise that the mandate refers specifically to 'on-site' infrastructure only, and is not relevant to needs off site. This is within the ambit of Oryx expertise, and I see no reason whatsoever for doubting the fact that Oryx have apparently come to an agreement with Kefi over funding and operation. Both parties have confirmed the arrangement, it seems, yet you classify it as an 'untruth'. Amazing. | scrappycat
23/10/2019 18:15 | unionhall, Moot point. He did not say "Infrastructure financing" but "infrastructure specialist " (according to your post - but I have not checked that). Orynx say "Combining more than a decade’s experience in the mining industry with our expertise in thermal & mechanical design we are the ideal partner for your waste conversion projects. We provide turnkey waste conversion solutions to our clients, allowing them to focus on their core business while also offering them an opportunity to reduce energy costs." That is clearly mining infrastructure specialism. It looks as if they may have decided to branch out? Or, perhaps, Orynx told Harry that as part of their "waste conversion solutions they had provided finance; or, indeed, perhaps they had (unless you know different?). | goatherd
23/10/2019 18:03 | And here we go, sleight of hand and the distraction away from the deafening silence of theu Kapi project.... | fingertrouble
23/10/2019 17:58 | Hi Goatherd, I would consider this to be as close as one could get to an untruth..... From July 2017.... " Highlights -- Mandate signed with infrastructure specialist Oryx to operate and lease-finance all on-site infrastructure at the Project. " Oryx had never before (or since to my knowledge) been involved in Infrastructure financing as I pointed out at the time. I'm sure Harry can point you to their great achievements if they exist. | unionhall

23/10/2019 16:03 | 8.45 “I do not have a sense of time” Case solved. Yes I am taking this out of contest but no more than Cybaajak not mentioning other bits where harry talks about bureaucracy in Ethiopia or harry saying we will have to see if its all done and where he explains how mining companies have to go through compliance procedures. “Things taking longer than expected” 16.45. Yes I did take the time to listen to the whole thing again good nit where he says he has been approached by the majors over Kefi's KSA prospects. | robjm66

23/10/2019 14:55 | Harry had no choice but to issue an RNS following the promise of funding by the EG and the ANS, since it was certainly within the public knowledge in Ethiopia. As for being circumspect, that would hardly endear him to the EG, WHO ARE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ISSUE OF MINING PERMITS AND LICENCES. Not clever in my book. As for your comments, is it not a fact that moneys incoming from the proposed funding WOULD substantially improve the financial prospects of the company? Furthermore, your comment specifies what you would have him not do, but not you would have him do. My posts are not in support of Harry, neither are they against him. They are a recognition of the fact that circumstances sometimes drive events, and in KEFI's case, I consider that circumstances have certainly conspired to prevent a speedier, and more certain, outcome. | scrappycat
23/10/2019 14:46 | My point is that what you say is lies is not. If he says "I expect" that is very unlikely to be a lie - and you can never detect that! "I expect" can only be a lie if he does not really expect it. But always, or perhaps nearly always, that is not the case. If he truly expects something and it does not happen then that is NOT a lie - it is merely a false expectation. People, like you, get angry because they think he tells lies. People like me, who analyse what he says, think differently. I do not get angry because he lies (because he doesn't, IMHO) - if I were to get angry it would be because of his false expectations - or gullibility! I am certainly not pleased with his use of "death spiral" financing. But there may have been no alternative. If so then I would rather have bad financing than none. | goatherd
23/10/2019 14:03 | I asked what others would have had him do differently. That is not defending him in my book, but I have seen no serious suggestions as to how you would like him to present information passed to him by the EG and ANS. What would you have him do?????? | scrappycat
23/10/2019 13:56 | @andysand - "Announcing good news to make a market for sells is dishonest because it means you have inside info about forthcoming dilution that poor PI’s are unaware of. Hence they are shafted" - I simply could not agree more. I just hope that this money arrives on or before 31st October, I really do, else I am sure I will not be the only one on the war path. He has stitched PI's up something rotten | cjm681
23/10/2019 13:36 | It is not unreasonable surely, for Harry assume that he was given information by the EG and the ANS in good faith. He is not, by law, allowed to conceal information that will affect the share price. What is he to do, but pass on that information to shareholders? How was he to know that a change of government and an attempted coup was in the offing? It would seem that some here would like him to issue a government health warning with each RNS, or utterance he makes. It is so easy to be wise after the event. Those who criticise are obviously not clairvoyant, otherwise they would not have made the choices they patently have. Neither, I venture to suggest, is Harry. | scrappycat |
