nothing to do with PR... its the continual missed deadlines and endless timeline extensions for the 'locals' to invest.. in the meantime a death spiral funding mechanism has been set up to wipeout any bag carriers...

Kefi never been that good at PR and shareholder relations but the company has tried more in the recent couple of years. Harry archetypal blunt Australian just needs the hat with the corks and talking about whinging poms. On the plus side he does believe in the companies prospects and a deal soon. Have to remember he has been taking wages in shares so he has just as much to lose as anyone else.

Another meaningless RNS and another drop in the share price has been triggered. Expect another equity swap soon to keep us in our places as the share price not positively reacted to all those "perceived" buys.

@peverill - you might have had your tongue in your cheek with that post, but you are in fact exactly right. This is something that has always annoyed me with this company - the thanks and acknowledgements for every party involved in the project (regardless of how difficult they prove to be), while the loyal and long-standing shareholder instead gets either ignored or dismissed ("nervous nellies"). I appreciate keeping the Government happy takes priority, but where on Earth would this company be without the large body of small shareholders and their regular buys over the last few years?

When you consider that the latest delay imposed by ANS in the summer for the updated reports has directly led to yet another halving of the share price, perhaps an additional word of thanks to long-term private shareholders might not have been out of place? Then again, pigs might fly.

But then I think that 'His Excellency' will be too smart for that old trick. He will most probably join those other canny Ethiopian 'investors' with a money back guarantee ... or become another of Harry's 'secret investors' with a profit back guarantee ... choices, choices ... so many choices for 'His Excellency' to make :-)

If we reach the start of November with still no funding then he must consider his position. Or at least cut his exorbitant salary if he wishes to continue to preside over this shambles.

As September was last month and the "wet season" has ended, have the farmers (who rely upon agriculture and crops) already been at work sowing and tilling on the NEW GROUND, OR, more worrying, been cultivating on the old ground above the mineral deposits that TK has ?

Bit of a odd question would think any farmers would save any seeds for the new site they would be moving to. Probably a section in the compensation package that covers the farming aspect.

Slide 7 Prime Minister issued instructions to all depts on 28 Feb 19 to start Tulu Kapi development. Federal Govt started off-site infrastructure & Local Govt approved resettlement compensation.

Slide 10 All Government levels have advised they are ready to trigger the development and some activities have started.

The Govt approved its TKGM budget allocations on 1 March 2019 and started its spending program.
