you are plain wrong ryan, you must have misread somewhere

you may be getting confused with the Newry Biomass plant, initially Phase 1 in 4MW and they are expanding in phases to 12 MW

a 2MW gasifier generates £2m

so you just scale it up

12 MW is £12m revenue and £7m EBITDA

Wind farms tend to sell at £2.5m / MW
Biomass plants are about £3-4m / MW

That is Capital cost.

so Enfield at 12MW could be worth £36-48m (even allowing for some sort of equity farm down on financial close it should generate decent developer profit for Kedco but I think their intention is to run it)

compared with Pluckanes worth £2m

yep the Enfield biomass plant is expected to generate £4m per annum.

At approx. £1.5m per windturbine a significant asset for a company capped at £7mn

I think they have already said what revenues they expect from Pluckanes and that is about ballpark.

The small individual wind turbines aren't the big story here. Maybe some of the windfarms later will be but not the turbines.

The bigger fish at the moment are the biomass plants.

in calculating the revenues of the windfarms the following links will help

Per these sources the pluckane single windfarm project generating 800KW at wind speeds of approx. 6m p/s = £277k per annum

To the uninitiated the balance sheet metrics of these companies can be a bit confusing because a lot of the projects have separate SPV's Special Purpose Vehicles. that is my memory from John Laing when it was listed anyway.

this is an odd company in this field as it is already generating EBITDA/cash

if they deliver on financial close for the Enfield Biomass facility it should generate £12m in revenue and £7m in EBITDA annually

so almost their entire market cap being generated in cash

these infrastructure type assets usually get high EBITDA valuations (10-20x) so you can see where there is potential for multibagging
