This kAz.. swings violently both ways not sure why people only complain it goes down more than others... on the swing side it goes higher than others when things are positive.I'm with big Dave... 800 by year end

Imo. This could be a big down side.Not been happy with trade volume since triple witching. Copper going into 2.50's. All suddenly looks grim. 400?Dyor.

LONDON, March 21 Copper hit a one-week low on
Tuesday as talks to resolve a strike at the world's biggest
copper mine in Chile were set to resume and as another huge mine
in Indonesia restarted production.
Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange was
last bid down 1.5 percent in official midday rings at $5,792 a
tonne, erasing the previous session's 0.9 percent gain. The
metal had earlier touched $5,781, its lowest since March 14.
"Once (the strike) is over, there could be quite a sharp
fall in prices given demand seems quite subdued," said Caroline
Bain, senior commodities economist at Capital Economics.
"China is growing reasonably strongly, but this is as good
as it gets and we will be slowing over the course of the year."

* RESUMPTIONS: The union representing striking workers at
BHP Billiton's Escondida mine in Chile said it
was open to further conversations that could lead to a reopening
of negotiations.
Freeport McMoRan's Indonesian operation, meanwhile, has
resumed copper concentrate production at its Grasberg mine,
ending a more than one-month stoppage.

I just bought back in. TP approx 565

The gap that opened up on 16 March has acted as support, and been closed this morning.

Couple this with my anticipated turn in the Cu chart later on today/tomorrow...

Yup. Took small profit this am. Will back out of mining for a bit. Copper looks increasingly volatile. Waiting on update from escondida. Lme and shanghai surplus is significant. Best wishes to all. He who dares, Rodney....
