People are very nervy and when markets drop a panic sell ensues, to be expected after such a strong run for equities, New York is dictating and as it dropped there the machines took over and started trimming across the board. I topped up in the 60s today and hope it was a good move.

The best investing method is almost always about fundamentals (and momentum) and here they are looking stronger by the month, and copper will go higher due to shortfalls kicking in next year and further down the line. I'd rather be in this sector than almost any other one at this stage of the cycle.

This is going much higher IMO!

A conformation will be after tomorrows trade day a inverted is found on a downtrend . this is a up trend so I class it as a shooting star followed by a sell off ...

Chile mine strike news on aljazeera, not looking good, major standoff on the cards. I hope they do not have a SA scenario of a couple years ago where many were killed.

Don't forget that in the real world The top two copper mines are closed.grasberg is looking to be shut for some time and the largest by far Escondida has a strike in which money bags BHP want to cut wages and conditions for their workers.They are looking to undermine the union and hire new workers in 30 days.stupid stupid mgt

Or it could be that as we had a lower high and lower low yesterday than the day before, signalling the beginning of a downtrend, this is an Inverted hammer signalling a reversal to the upside :-)

KAZ has reversed along with others in the sector. Copper and Iron all off this afternoon.

Have to expect a bit of turbulence at times imo, especially commodities.
