DB - this is the standard MO for these guys - look at CGNR - can't you just picture the scene......."oh dear....look at the share price.....we can't raise any more funds at the moment as our share.price is below the nominal value.......not a problem.....we can just consolidate.......and off we go again.....how much do I need for fees / emoluments this year?"........ah.....to be a fly.on the wall at those board meetings........... 😎

Rio Tinto to expand the miners diamond business, according to Bloomberg today. Rio said the only path to expansion is acquisitions. Jean Sebastian Jacques, the Rio Tinto Group CEO told Bloomberg. He told Bloomberg that acquiring more diamond assets is the "priority area"! They are going to continue to refocus their portfolio to ensure that 10 years down the road they will have only world class assets. As far as I am aware Rio have classified a KDR discovery as "High Priority", which was why they paid for previous analysis in Australian lab. This could be very good for KDR. This may get very exciting!

Think this will flat line now until the AGM. Market knows what is coming and will keep a lid on till a week tomorrow when things may become somewhat clearer. Anybody brave enough to take a punt at these prices? Bit like flipping a coin. Hope its not a case of heads they win, tails we lose! Love to be proved wrong though Mr. Conroy ;o))

I have got 8 cans of Gold Label chilling in the fridge had a few at lunch time too yum yum.AIM though what a load of old tosh I'm making around £500 per week trading FTSE 250 stocks that are relatively safe and pay a good dividend if you get caught and have to hold .Investing in AIM just doesn't make any sense at all now as it did say 10-15 years ago when you really could make big bucks .

LOL, only pulling the old leg Steve.

Think they may have more chance mind...

Was watching Gold Rush on TV last night, this diamond mining looks easy. A bunch of rednecks rocked up in Guyana to mine a gold claim and by chance found diamonds.

One of them looked like the Star of Africa compared to anything this shower have turned out in the last ten years.

Again I am taking the p@ss.

Just to put a positive spin on it........they could always raise money at a premium to the share price after the AGM. Maybe they have such a good tale to tell that an investor would want in at any price!

stevehoops..... that may very well be the case, but I can guarantee that our Board never envisioned having to carry out a capital reorganisation of the Company in order to facilitate a fundraising! There may well be big things going on in the background, we, and the Board may feel that we are somewhat undervalued at this level, but it is the Market that puts a value on the Company and not investor sentiment or speculation.

Ultimately it is a 'failing' of the Board that the shareprice has fallen consistantly over the last year almost. How would everyone on here feel if there was a discounted fundraising after the AGM, then a month later the Company released news that tripled the shareprice? Lets be honest, we have all seen it happen before!

It is the timing of this that I find most concerning, in relation to it being required now at this stage in the Companies development. It will all come out in the wash no doubt. It will be interesting to see if the MM's keep a lid on this over the next few weeks. The only positive thing is that any placed shares cannot be forward sold as the placing cannot take place until it is voted for at the AGM. Every cloud.......

CatsWhiskas.....couldnt agree more, and anybody attempting to trade KDR deserves all they get. This has always been a buy and hold stock. Hasnt gone the way I expected, and this new development at this stage of the game is somewhat worrying as it proves to me that things havent gone as our Board expected!

Its all going to be about the fundraising. How much, to who, and at what price? That is going to tell the tale, and we will know the answer to those questions shortly after the AGM I'm guessing.

Its going to be interesting to see how the MM's work this over the next two weeks, especially if we have a sudden increase in buy volume prior to the AGM. It will also be interesting to see how shortly after the AGM any fundraising is sorted out, as I feel sure that will more or less be in place now!

I guess that is why they have to devalue the shares and beg the market for more money at pitiful rates Goldeneye!
Stick to 007!
