06/1/2017 15:12 | Anyone have any thoughts on when we may see an update here. Been a good bit of buying interest in the last couple of days. Some good figures in the pipeline perhaps? | nigelmoat
16/12/2016 16:23 | Cool, thanks! | guernseymoney
16/12/2016 16:01 | They were shares bought in by the Co & now cancelled. So less shares = more £'s per share for s/hlders, because less shares to divide into assets. | eeza
16/12/2016 15:54 | Any idea what the RNS means? Cancelling T shares: credit the T shares, where does the debit go? Shareholder equity? | guernseymoney
15/11/2016 11:03 | Last year there was a dividend in December. Presumably not the case this year? | plasybryn
11/11/2016 11:55 | Bit of volume this morning, (180k most this week) & a couple of chunky buys pushing the share price up a touch. | mortimer7
11/11/2016 08:59 | Plas - News is always pretty thin on the ground with Juridica. There was a portfolio update in Nov last year but I wouldn't hold your breath. Next scheduled update is final results in March. | speedsgh
10/11/2016 22:54 | Am back in. Looking forward to updates. | guernseymoney
24/10/2016 16:08 | When is the next update due please? | plasybryn
18/10/2016 16:01 | Sold all at £1.30 a couple of years ago. Couldn't resist avoiding a loss. | lavalmy
07/10/2016 14:11 | Buying more | nw99
07/10/2016 12:27 | SOLD. Completely out (at 19p bid). Am sure there is extra mileage here, but couldn't resist taking a sizeable short-term profit. Good luck all. | guernseymoney
03/10/2016 10:18 | 32p dividend appeared in my HL account this morning. | bruceylegs
30/9/2016 16:06 | I managed to get my 100,000 in 2 tranches at 14.50p and 14.75p Agree costs are going to be high, but FX is another spanner in this (I think the £ is going to crash further vs US$ in the next 12 months). So whilst I'd like to think 35% is in the bag, I'd be happy with 10% to 15% realistically (once write down risk is in the mix). Again, a waiting game, but certainly an interesting one. | guernseymoney
30/9/2016 16:00 | I took another look at the results and I think costs to dec 2017 will be over 3p per share now. I'm also very unsure about the value of the investments in the portfolio. There is also a $700,000 write-off of an investment after the year end. I'm going to watch on the side-lines and may be interested at the 13p area. | gbill11
30/9/2016 15:29 | I'm not reinvesting mine, simply because I've added over 100,000 shares in the past few weeks, but pleased to see some support for this share which has way more upside risk than down. Am hoping for at least a 35% gain on today's share price as JIL winds up in the next 12 to 15 months. GLA. | guernseymoney
30/9/2016 15:14 | slight rise - people reinvesting dividend? | bandit99
29/9/2016 18:31 | Monster dividend payout tomorrow. I wonder if some will reinvest strengthening the share price? | plasybryn
27/9/2016 13:22 | Added 56,000 shares this morning, once upon a time they would have cost a pretty penny! | djderry
22/9/2016 10:13 | Added again. The discount to NAV is very attractive (even with a 2p to 3p deduction for ongoing/winding up costs) as is the fact that the finish line is in sight. Speaking to a lawyer friend who knows this space, these outstanding cases that JIL owns can be assigned (sold) to other claimants (e.g. Burford etc) with relative ease and without the need for a fire sale - it remains an increasingly popular asset class in a world of negative yield. | guernseymoney
20/9/2016 14:54 | I know they are going to reduce the operating costs but it looks like they will still be quite high. $2.1 million for the last 6 months. I'd be assigning 3p off the NAV to account for ongoing costs, and winding-up costs, to the end of 2017. | gbill11
20/9/2016 09:36 | From the Interims on 6/9 the NAV was 26p. I realise this is a moving target (up or down) and during the run off period to Dec 2017 there will be expenses incurred. Nonetheless at the current offer of 16p, even if the NAV drops 38% we will still break even and if we get paid out at NAV that's a 62.5% gain in about 15 months. An interesting speculation. | flagon |
