I think these will be 4p soon with more news on the way. Products are very good and controlling your home/business through an app is the future made available now. Someone will eye this company up..it's tiny, but in a huge market with excellent products and plenty of consumers retail and commercial to exploit.

FT article:

JSJS Designs turns up heat with remote controls order

A big order on Thursday boosted JSJS Designs, the tiny Aim-quoted company that makes gadgets allowing homeowners remote control over their lights and electrical appliances, writes Kate Burgess.
The Birmingham-based group's shares rose 16 per cent to 0.9p after it said it had received an $800,000 order from its UK distributor for a product enabling consumers to turn individual radiators on and off via their mobile phones or the web.
The energy saving system, which will be available from April, has been tested by Warwick University. It was a fillip for the company, which faces increasing competition in the market in "smart" systems and home automation technology and reported pre-tax losses of £409,000 in the half year to March 2013 on revenues of £476,000.
JSJS's shares, floated on Aim at 2p in 2008, are still a long way off their 2009 high of close to 4p.

Currently jsjs are mainly in the UK but what would happen if they went international in a big way with the help of megaman? Just a thought. Also if the Warwick university project goes well, the prospect for other big commercial projects. Possibilities are endless. Gla

Buggy - thanks for that. That would be an interesting addition to the range and would make the buying of the router more compelling to be able to expand the product, particulary for those that do not want all products, e.g. they like the light system, ip camera/security but don't want to upgrade their heating system.

Having a wide selection of different product ranges could be a unique identifier/USP for JSJS and would probably be a winner - in my opinion.

yesrupnel,

I imagine the areas that they will be tackling will be the IP camera which is advertised but has not showed yet as well as possibly remote door lock/open.

Besides the good news we got today, e.g. date, stock order and details about what the heating control can do.

That has to be tempered with likely lower sales per Maplin store than planned due to stock issues.

However - the following statement in the RNS shows we have more upside with new products to be launched during 2014. There could be something really good in any new products (I hope they are not just referring to cosmetic re-designs).

'The Company continues to work on additional products for the Heating Range as well as the Lighting & Electrical and Security ranges and continued App development. Further products will be available during 2014 distinguishing the LightwaveRF range further from the limited ranges of its competitors.'

Well I plan to keep hold of my shares tightly as possible - here to a profitable Year for JSJS shareholders.

Great RNS. Credit, where credit is due.

Great that they have now taken a massive step forward. Hopefully this will be the start of a very profitable 2014 for us.

There will be a few that will take the opportunity to bank profits based on the fact that we have had so many false dawns, one step forward and two back scenario.

I for myself think that we may have turned a corner. I am probably their harshest critic as well as their biggest supporter. Today however I am very optimistic that the dark days may be behind us.

Confirmation of a date. Great news (if they manage to stick to it and actually have enough stock to meet the demand). Hopefully with Megaman we will get some professional input into estimating demand, stock control, production scheduling etc.

I do like the fact that each radiator can be controlled so instead of say a bedroom being heated from when the heating comes on at say 17:00 you can delay that room until say 21:30. That has to generate some substantial savings over the year hence the 3/4 year payback for purchasing the kit. If they can put that angle on it with the advertising then we should see substantial volume.

We just need to get some big distributors and energy companies confirmed and we could be on a winner here.

And very nicely worded too! That's a bit of a put-down for all the other try-to-bes out there :-)
