Nice over the offer buy has us ticking up again today, start of a uptrend developing after languishing at rock bottom prices.

Nice to see the bid coming up today and what looks like a larger buy towards close, looks like a good entry point here with news of LA expansion or refinancing of loan round the corner hopefully acting as a cataylst for a substantial climb in the share price, picked up a few more today myself to add to my initial purchase last week.

The LA asset looks the jewel in the crown for sure, growth prospects there look really encouraging and i hope we will get more regular newsflow over the coming months on expansion plans.

Been watching this one for a while and feel comfortable to take a position this morning on what looks like a cracking recovery stock, results were not stellar by a long shot but seems the difficult period is behind them now and all divisions are set for good growth which was confirmed by the good start to the year as mentioned in the outlook statement.

This coupled with the annoucement today bodes well for a strong recovery in the share price and at such a low market cap it would not take much to see this multibag over time imo.

Journey Group plc

Annual Results

for the year ended 31 December 2010

Journey Group plc ("Journey Group" or the "Group") a leading provider of in-flight products, catering and media services to the airline and travel industry today announces its results for the year ended 31 December 2010.

Highlights

-- Restructuring and strategic re-positioning complete and Group now positioned for growth.

-- EBITDA* before exchange differences unchanged on a like for like basis at GBP0.6 million.

-- Los Angeles Division EBITDA* rose to GBP1.4 million from GBP0.7 million in 2009 after an intergroup charge of GBP0.2 million for royalties not charged in 2009.

-- Investment in Alpha-Airfayre Limited sold for GBP3.5 million bringing the total cash realised from the disposal of Air Fayre Limited's operations to GBP8.5 million.

-- Net debt reduced to GBP0.2million.

-- Re-financed with GBP4.5 million three year facility of which GBP3.0 million was subsequently repaid. Intention to refinance the remainder to reduce funding costs and provide the basis for debt capacity in the USA.

Stephen Yapp, Chairman commented "2010 was a transformational year for the Group. Its activities were streamlined and successfully re-positioned for growth and for the first time in recent years, the Group has a solid financial position with very little net debt. The Los Angeles Division has some significant growth opportunities, whilst the Products Division can look forward to both recovery as well as growth. We anticipate that 2011 will be the year in which we will build the foundations for growth in 2012 and beyond. As a result, your Board is confident of the future prospects of the Group".

It is looking like it now - should get an update too from share sleuth I would guess that might give it another shot in the arm.

Having said that difficult to work out a target price.
