16/2/2017 18:18 | lets face it, a guy(s) just bunged down a huge wad of dosh on JPR (not the CA buy), no questions asked. Bam! Lets hope he "really" knows something good! | netcurtains
16/2/2017 17:40 | but only accounts for 1.6 of the 4.5m traded. | brando69
16/2/2017 17:15 | Confirmed it was Crystal Amber buying yesterday, over 21% now. | ragehammer
16/2/2017 16:13 | just believe in writing and paper! Its a question of positive thinking. UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP | netcurtains
16/2/2017 15:43 | he's mainlining sherbet lemons | brando69
16/2/2017 15:30 | nc do you wish to share the opiate your on? can it be smoked in a pipe? | dazzaa
16/2/2017 14:53 | ..if we can get it back to £1.50 that would be nice too. | netcurtains
16/2/2017 14:47 | You're right dazz. It's living with pain that does it. I should be more forgiving. Having said that, am looking forward to 40p now. | stdyeddy
16/2/2017 12:14 | I'll be selling at 40p for a 150% profit. No need to overdo it. Of course if CA come in with an offer of 48p I'll take that too. | brando69
16/2/2017 12:08 | eddy you can be too harsh sometimes especially to a teenager ! | dazzaa
16/2/2017 11:00 | stdyeddy: dont wish to appear rude but the buffoonery is normally on the person who buys expensive (sorry).... When do I sell my few pence worth that is the question... I bought in to sell at about 40p. If it reaches that by next week (and I doubt it) I will think about selling, you are correct. If it just gets to high 20s I'm afraid I'll still be here. When will you be selling? You have been here for about 20 years. There has to be a price that you will make you sell? | netcurtains
16/2/2017 10:27 | dazz, I reckon 20p might hold for a couple of days and if we then see RNSs for a directorate change at the same time as the share transfer, we might see a bounce higher. With any luck that should cause beefcurtains to sell his few pounds' worth and we'll be free of his buffoonery too! | stdyeddy
16/2/2017 10:19 | dazz, exactly what I've been wondering about. River & Mercantile is the most obvious - puts CA just under 30% with one deal. If not them, then it would have to be at least two of the other major shareholders. What does Rich B say to them that makes them bale and sell to him after they've taken such a massive, almost 100% hit? | stdyeddy
16/2/2017 10:18 | CA might wish to take it private and break it up. It is an option. I used to watch those old Doris Day movies when I was a young child where the male lead used to buy up companies and break them up and Doris always made them soften their approach to business in the end. CA might not be speaking to Doris and just go for it! Basically CA see JPR as Thorntons. From Wikipedia: In January 2011, Jonathon Hart joined the business as CEO.[citation needed] Following a resultant strategic review in June 2011, Thorntons announced it would close between 120 and 180 of its shops.[37][38] | netcurtains
16/2/2017 10:14 | nc That's not their modus operandi | dazzaa
16/2/2017 09:54 | Dazzaa: CA can do the whole hog if they want. They have the money to buy the whole thing... It must be one of their options they have on the table. Interesting times! | netcurtains
16/2/2017 09:19 | If it keeps around 20p for a few days without retreating that will be a new milestone in my book. I wonder who the seller was to enable CA to progress so valiantly, so a seat at the table of fables to deliver justice. | dazzaa
16/2/2017 08:56 | really interesting situation... Could it be the "bear trap" thingie? | netcurtains
16/2/2017 07:56 | Looks like the FT is going to be two days ahead of the RNS. Anyone here seen anything from AH or CR? | stdyeddy
15/2/2017 23:12 | for anyone who likes this kind of thing, 50 day MA up through 100 day MA - long term golden cross. | brando69
15/2/2017 22:53 | tips (and Alistair). Surprised you had to ask - would have thought that was your kind of thing | brando69
15/2/2017 22:41 | crystal who? | temmujin
15/2/2017 22:34 | what price would they need to offer to get the other big shareholders to back them? assuming that all of them are sitting on a big loss on their holdings | brando69
15/2/2017 22:32 | If that's true it's the best news for months | dazzaa |
