12/1/2017 16:28 | Well Well Well.... Expect some fireworks... Now at 18% | ianio5691
12/1/2017 16:25 | Crystal Amber it is !!! | mister md
12/1/2017 15:14 | Crystal Amber also up to 14% in HUR now.... check the impact on their shareprice.... | ianio5691
12/1/2017 15:04 | An RNS confirming who our mystery buyer is would be nice. Can't see that it can be anyone other than Crystal Amber, who have been openly accumulating for months. If so, With a holding just short of 20%, they obviously have an agenda, and see an opportunity here... it has all the classic characteristics that they thrive on.... Check out the old Thorntons thread (THT) Expect some shenanigans and an offer to take this private very soon! | ianio5691
12/1/2017 13:28 | MD: so basically NO ONE CURRENTLY KNOWS!!!!!!!!! Cant go on for long like this One thing is for 100% certain... You cannot sell if no one buys.. So some one has bought that 12%. | netcurtains

12/1/2017 12:25 | So largest shareholding when announced will be CA with around 18% or so. Reminds me of Thorntons, which from memory they increased to around the early 20% mark. | mrx9000
12/1/2017 12:24 | Many thanks. So we still don't know who bought them. Let's hope it's TNI - BUT I imagine it'll be through a nominee co anyway. | philjeans

12/1/2017 12:18 | LONDON (Alliance News) - Johnston Press PLC late Wednesday said a shareholder with a significant holding in the business has sold its entire stake. The news company said Vidacos Nominees Ltd sold 12.6 million shares on Tuesday. Vidacos, Orbis Asset Management and Orbis Investment Management are all held under parent company Orbis Allan Gray Ltd. Johnston Press confirmed the shareholding represented at least an 11% stake in the business, but not detail the exact stake held prior to the sale. Based on the company's issued share capital on Wednesday, the stake that was sold was equal to an 11.89% stake. Johnston Press, as of November 8, 2016, said Orbis Investment Management Ltd was its largest shareholder with a 12.97% stake. The sale was completed on Tuesday. Johnston Press held a general meeting on Wednesday, when shareholders approved the sale of Johnston Publishing East Anglia Ltd, which received minimal opposition. Johnston Press shares closed 12% higher on Wednesday at 15.0 pence per share. | ashthorpedo
12/1/2017 12:17 | yes odd that as date of transaction in rns is 10th january | mister md
12/1/2017 12:17 | think it means the general meeting | jackbal
12/1/2017 12:16 | The Alliance news announcement says the holding was sold "before the meeting". I don't subscribe so cant read the rest of the quote. Anyone here got it? Does it mean the last meeting with CRS? ??? | philjeans
12/1/2017 12:03 | Many here know why we are invested here and what we are looking for in terms of buying back debt at a discount and potentially further asset sales, boosting the i etc. Just let it play out IMO and don't worry about the odd seller taking a pickle. The bigger picture here is an awsome recovery turnaround and CA have spotted it too. All the recent dips will be looked back upon as buy opps IMO. If i'm wrong I'll lose my money, simple as that. It won't be the first time or the last. lol | nick rubens
12/1/2017 11:52 | remember it was in the 20s just a few weeks back | netcurtains
