John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") announces the following board appointment. 
 
Jacqui Ferguson joins Wood Group as a non-executive director on 1 December 2016 
and will also join the Board's Nomination and Audit committees. 
 
Jacqui is currently SVP & General Manager of Hewlett Packard UKI & MEMA, a role 
she has held since October 2014.   Prior to this Jacqui held a number of senior 
roles within the technology sector and immediately prior to her current role 
served as the VP & Chief of Staff to the CEO of Hewlett Packard from March 2012 
to 2014. 
 
Ian Marchant, Chair, said "I am delighted to welcome Jacqui to the Board.  Her 
broad experience as a business leader in the technology sector will further 
strengthen the Board and provide valuable support and guidance to the Group's 
Executive Leadership Team.  Harnessing the use of technology to drive 
efficiency, finding innovative ways to provide greater value to our customers 
and ensuring that Wood Group continues to succeed in the digital economy are 
key parts of Wood Group's strategy, and Jacqui will contribute a huge amount to 
the board discussions in that area." 
 
There are no other details which are required to be disclosed under Listing 
Rules LR 9.6.13 and Ms Ferguson does not have any interest in the shares of 
Wood Group.
