14/4/2009 22:22 | 76k buyer last week at 0.9p sells today for 0.5p without the price ever moving ! Not a lot of patience around, if i knew they were going to dump them so quick i would have gave them say 0.6p for them :-)) Even in extreme quiet stocks there is good money to be made for the mm's by simply waiting a few days, £300 for a few minutes. | 8trader
11/4/2009 19:05 | Liarspoker. What do you make of the accounts, i'm still a novice and have been looking but not too sure what is what ? | 8trader
08/4/2009 12:16 | Not missed much have i, surely these mm's can make a better spread here in Jlh, expected it to nose above 1p by the time i returned but the mm's are not interested in moving it for now, i can quickly see they play with extreme small amounts each way, 50k gets 0.8p but 75k is full 0.9p offer, it's time will come, worth a small play as i think it will double at some point this year. | 8trader
28/3/2009 14:38 | HateTrader - believe what you like but I drove that price up from 0.9p to 2.5p buying in the 350K amounts at a time - most of the big volume spikes over the past 2 years are me, Davidosh or one other of us that were buying at the time. There is another holder of 10% that you will find posts on here too. If you had done your research you'd know all that. Feel free to get the price up, I won't mind one bit if you do. And you don't have me filtered - you'd niss all the good buys if you did! Glad to see you have a job tho, times are tough for lots of people and I don't wish unemployment on anyone, even you HateTrader. CR | cockneyrebel
28/3/2009 14:05 | Glad to hear you have got yourself a job Hate Trader - I think dustmen are a very undervalued commodity in this country. Best of luck :-) CR | cockneyrebel
24/3/2009 18:00 | Does this qualify for a lovely curved bottom 8-) | bigbigdave
22/3/2009 06:53 | Good luck with the new job Quotes and best of luck with JLH. | bigbigdave
21/3/2009 22:42 | Quotes - Cavendish wins Milan - San Remo. | liarspoker
20/3/2009 17:40 | Company seems pretty useless imo - I hold loads. Even the RNS they put out said: "The Company has just launched an on-line shop featuring a revamped range of furniture and accessories. This will give nationwide access to the John Lewis of Hungerford brand." Then they never gave out the web address. Still, hope you can ramp them up. CR | cockneyrebel
20/3/2009 16:10 | Not surprised at the rise although it's mostly my fault that it has happened, very hard to get stock but i have a nice small holding now and the mm's have very little so happy days ! | 8trader
12/3/2009 10:56 | Did anybody else notice that trading statement last week ? Looks quite good, market seems to have completely missed it or discounted it ? | 8trader
06/3/2009 16:38 | Interesting trading statement today - all's not lost then. Thought these might be hovis after the Smallbone suspension Will be interesting to see how these play out now. CR | cockneyrebel
10/2/2009 11:11 | As MFI have gone bust and small independents are sadly disappearing you would think JLH would be on its knees too but there will be a gain for them as the number of competitors shrinks so long as their offering is good and reasonably competitive. | davidosh
09/2/2009 21:34 | moob's a wind up. CR | cockneyrebel
09/11/2008 17:23 | Why should they delist ? and if they intend to do so it would need to go to an egm but clearly Mr Lewis would be the one to decide on that. They raised lots of cash just seven months ago so hopefully that is still keeping the company away from headaches financially but must admit the cost of listing becomes a major factor for any tiddler below £2m market cap. | davidosh
09/11/2008 16:13 | will they delist on the same day | moob
09/11/2008 11:57 | Looks like a pile of old junk. | loverat
09/11/2008 11:54 | Thanks cr read in the papers today Tesco's are selling kitchens for less than one grand it had to happen I guess. | mitzis |
