Blah blah blah set of results still looking for something they are unlikely to get or will be a dog just like the rest of the fields they had and have relinquished. Dog share always has been and will be

Video interview with Andrew Benitz

Jersey Oil and Gas (LON:JOG) has revealed it's bringing Norwegian major Statoil into its North Sea exploration projects.

Andrew Benitz, chief executive, tells Proactive Investors, ''we have been working hard on this farm-out, have managed the process in-house and brought a very strong operating partner in to take the license forward''.

''There is an outline plan for an exploration well to be potentially planned for next year, and likely summer next year'', he adds.

why do you believe Statoil is spending $27m on buying and drilling a site if it is "unlikely to get developed"?

Agree, hardly any shares in issue and only around 5 million shares in public hands. If the 200k was the same investor, it keeps them just below the 3% reporting holding level. Not often you'd read that.

Market cap only £1.3 million, plenty of headroom for advance with the right development and news and with so few shares available, you can understand why the price can climb so high and so quickly as in June of last year.

The chart looks in good shape at the moment with little resistance between the current price and 40p, then 60p, 80p and the previous recent intraday high of 120p, which would still only be a market cap of around £10 million.

Aimshare I have seem this company fail miserably from its creation, I know mote about it than most and stand by my recommendation I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. If you have anything to back up your thoughts I'll happily shoot them down. Just because you bought doesn't mean your right. Only treating that is likely is a negative one

Jersey Oil & Gas (JOG): 45p Technical Destination

Jersey Oil & Gas is a great example of what you would like to see in terms of a solid looking small cap recovery prospect. The main plus point here and source of bullish speculation has been the reclamation of the 200 day moving average, now at 14.96p, in April, and the progression since then with respect to the black line on the daily chart. The assumption to make now is that provided there is no break back below the floor of a rising September price channel / 50 day moving average at 18.14p, one would expect to see further significant upside. Just how high this could stretch is suggested by the 2015 resistance line projection, now pointing to the 45p zone. This is expected to be touched as soon as the end of next month at the present rate of progress.

Eyes up 25 disasters that they will likely lose money on knowing this shower and not like they have money to buy anything decent is it. Borrowing to buy so interest will be added straight away making it risky. Wouldn't touch these shares

Looking at those results it will come back down with a bump soon enough. Loss of 1.4m and achieved nothing only finding a duster. Relinquished most of its licenses. No progress and not enough cash to last another year. This is and always has been a dog and will end up going under sooner or later.
