Time to buy folks, price now settled enough to start pushing this stock to its brokers target, averages steadily ticking up.

Looks like a very good price, and according to the house broker (Daniel Stewart) will be slightly earnings-enhancing in the current year, and strongly so in 2007. Still pretty good value, despite the strong rise: DAN's target is now 188p, and that looks fair enough to me for starters.

looks like they paid a good price aswell, it is usual to pay more than what looks like .75 of commission income.....

I would like to say that I am in the recruitment market, specifically insurance related. I know Goss very well whom Jelf have just purchased - its a great business with a great reputation, Jelf have made a great acquisition here.

p.s. I am not a shareholder but I thought you guys should know what your company has just bought.

Daniel Stewart lifts Jelf Group's (JLF.LN) target to 186p from 110p. Keeps at buy. "Jelf Group has reported a strong set of final results, ahead of our expectations and showing earnings growth of 31% (7.1p vs 5.4p on a fully diluted, normalized basis)." Trades +0.8% at 119p.

Bigman - yep, insurance tipped as one of 'the' growth sectors for 2006.

great performance I hold long term and know that this will prove to be very profitable, my portfolio of "insurance sector" stocks are doing great, cbg group, broker network, highway, gable, are all doing very well thanks and I seem to have hit on a winning formula... you just cant have enough INSURANCE !!!

I agree. The negative for some potential investors is the lack of dividend.
But for a growing company this is no bad thing IMO.

Nice results today - profits up 100%...looks like a nice steady earner and quite oblivious to all the market ups and downs this week.

Worth a look?

Bit mystified as to why this share is rated so highly plus its price to book ratio is even higher. What are its growth forecasts? does anybody know.
Also does JLF have a website.
