31/5/2007 21:15 | I think that this PE shows very good value. I am a holder ( I would say that wouldnt I? ) With a turnover of circa £60 million but capitalisation of only £ 20 million if management can sweat a return of only a few extra %, then this looks very attractive. Key word "if". The stock is in play - needs to keep profile up until annual results. | capercaillie
31/5/2007 18:55 | interesting comments,, as some one in the know here in the lakes, i hold these stocks and am buying more... | commando29
31/5/2007 09:09 | February trading update stated: "Despite the recent weakening of the US$, growth at Technical Fibre Products (" TFP") has continued. Sales by TFP in the nine-month period to 31 December 2006 were some 28% higher than in the comparable period. We now expect TFP to continue to perform at these levels for the remainder of the financial year, and therefore TFP's profits for the full financial year will be considerably ahead of the previous year." TFP made £777K last year. Pushing 30% growth sould mean that they break through the £1m profit mark. Put that on a 20X eps (high-growth, new materials business with Fuel Cell technology and vehicle weight reduction exposure) and you get £20M. At the current market cap the rest of the business is in for free!!! Trading updates suggest that profit from the traditional business should also weigh in around the same figure. Put that on 10X and you have 50% upside from here before even beginning to discuss revaluing the property...... DYOR. G. | garth

24/5/2007 10:56 | Looks like someone might be unwinding a position and taking a well deserved profit. Great trading statement though. Market cap currently around 10X pbt.... Property assets need re-valuing. Divi increases. £3.50 and then some, IMO Hybrasil. G. | garth
24/5/2007 09:48 | 90p to go!!!! | hybrasil
23/5/2007 22:54 | £3.50 | hybrasil
22/5/2007 14:39 | nice to see some movement here - shame I'm missing out on it :-( I sold all of mine in April at around 220p, as this was my target price and nothing much seemed to have changed - I was hoping to buy back in lower, but it doesn't look like I'll get chance now. The results should be quite intersting though, and the effects of reduced energy costs should be quite visible - Additionally, they installed a waste heat recycling system (or something), which was forecast to have a significant impact on the energy usage. It's about time they revalued the property too. | thecurrymonster
22/5/2007 14:13 | Garfield, The situation here looks better and better, IMO. More rises today. G. | garth
20/5/2007 19:03 | Just started to lok at thread. Could I ask Garth what long term target is has for the company. Has it changed since start of thread? Thanks | garfield31
15/5/2007 05:39 | Results due 19th June. I suspect, if they are as good as the ts lead us to believe, that we will see a very sharp upwards movement. The share price has been very solid at the current level and there isnt a lot of stock about. | hybrasil
03/5/2007 12:22 | Between energy and tfp we could well do it. | hybrasil
03/5/2007 06:10 | Don't know about June, but I'm sure it won't be too far away Hybrasil - energy falls will have helped. G. | garth
03/5/2007 05:51 | Garth started this thread on 2/3/05 suggesting a target price of £3.50. The recent positive trading statement means these results due in June will excite. Will we reach £3.50 in June? | hybrasil
