LONDRES (Agefi-Dow Jones)--Le FTSE 100 a limité son recul en fin de séance vendredi grâce au léger rebond des cours de l'or noir et à l'appréciation de la livre sterling face au dollar. L'indice des valeurs phares de la Bourse de Londres a clôturé en baisse de 0,2%, à 7.424,13 points, après avoir atteint un point bas en séance de 7.396,75 points, et le cours du baril de Brent gagnait 0,9% à la fin de la séance à Londres, à 45,63 dollars. La devise britannique s'est adjugé 0,4% face au billet vert mais est restée stable face à l'euro, après la publication de l'indice d'activité du secteur privé dans la zone euro, qui a connu son meilleur trimestre en six ans. L'action ITV a grimpé de 3,3%, soutenue par le relèvement de la recommandation de Morgan Stanley à "surpondérer". Le fabricant de papier et d'emballages Smurfit Kappa a accusé le plus fort recul de la cote, perdant 2,8% après avoir fortement progressé ces derniers temps.
