If you had asked me in April I probably would have agreed with your conclusions.But the evidence is that this is very different from 2007/08.1. ITV is a very different more efficient company considerably less dependent on advertising revenues.2. TV advertising revenues have recovered from April lows to 2007/08 declines and improving further.ITV is now ridiculously cheap and now especially vulnerable to a foreign takeover given low valuation combined with weak sterling.

Considering the near total reliance all other broadcasters, content suppliers, etc have on the BT infrastructure to get their content delivered, you'd think BT would be more resilient and even prosper during these times?

That would appear to be good news for ITV.

TV advertising revenues have significantly recovered from the lock-down Mar/April lows.Please do some research.Everything now stable.It will save you some money!

Yeah you're probably right...Mass unemployment, job retention plan ending in a couple of weeks all just a shot in the arm for an advertiser.Problem with ITV is that it's content is free. when times are booming people bid more to advertise, when times are slim, well you can work it outIf you want to look at historic correlations then look at what happened to the share price post 2008.

Monday is ITV’s first day out of FTSE 100 and as history tells us it should be a strong upward day.
Everyone who needed to be out before relegation has now gone!
This should out weight anything else going on.

You're right stansmith3, BBC suspended 4k/UHD at the start of lockdown as a precaution to ease the possible strain on broadband. They brought it back though and currently have several series available. It helps if you like David Attenborough!

100 million trades - I guess that is the end of the FTSE100 tracker funds.
So, assuming no stock over hang, or bad economic news, looks like a good rise next week.
