A lot of UK companies looking very attractive for takeover from overseas.
Whilst Brexit in the air, they still gonna trade below their EU equiv.
I expect approaches over next few months for good companies.

I wish people will stop going on about stupid takeover rumours. We dont need that type of pure bollx. ITV is a great company making great profits and will 'soon' be trading back where it should be - well over £1 a share (before you ask 'soon' does not mean a couple of days lol)

"ITV (LON:ITV), off 59%, may well be attracting some sideways glances – but more likely from within the media industry than from private equity (though never say never on that score)."

I was aiming to correct you, I actually feel you figure was correct,
if we can close above 61.58p we should climb nicely higher.

I am heavy into gambling online and gold. Although bought across
many industries during lockdown. My technology company is mno.

hhh

Our recent low was 57p, so twenty percent takes us to 68p.

I continue to buy as I feel we could start to gain a little
traction higher, especially over the long term that I am
interested in.

Yesterday could have proved a great day to start your long on cyclical shares.
Time will tell.
It's about covid, Brexit, US election news really.

Technically, a bull run is after crosses 20% above the recent lows. Not sure what that threshold would be? 61/62p?

DOW closed at all time high last night (apparently). I think FTSE Futures up (or flat) at present. Be great if ITV continued its bull run. We will see.

.....So I watched "Black Work" on ITV at 9pm tonight. Good TV show and I noticed every 15 minutes they had an advertising break in which they showed on average 9 adverts per break (for FTSE100-250 sized brands). I'm not sure how much 4*9 (36 adverts per hour) equates to in money but I think its more or less back to their normal amount.
I think they are, more or less, fully back and firing on all cylinders ..

Peak rates cost up to £10,000 £30,000 -so thats minimum of £1/3M PER HOUR - Maximum £1M PER HOUR.. I'm not sure how many peak hours there are a day but I guess its 6pm to 11pm - or 5 hours worth.
Then, I guess, you can multiply that by a factor of some sort for each channel they own.....

Cautious7. ITV may have been expensive at 200p+.
But now they are sub 60p, that is cheap.
If you predicted the price to fall from 200p area, well done. Although half the fall was covid based, and a surprise to all.
Now if you keep predicting a lower price from here, you may just ruin your averages.
Lets see where the share price is in 6, 12 and 18 months. We can look back at your predictions today and see if you were right or wrong.
This is cheap at this level IMO.

Cautious7: I dont mean oversold as in its literally oversold (I have no idea about that) - I mean its oversold for the RSI formula. Here is the details:

Peddlers: I think Pearson (Another one of my shares) must the target for shorters now. It has rsi in high teens - so about the most oversold company on the FTSE100... I'm not saying its a good short (I have no idea) but its not in great shape. I would have thought with kids going back to school (world wide) Pearson should be quids in... But obviously not yet... Not until covid cure sorted.
