Yip, they need to clarify whether the Feb/Mar I was told is correct or not. It was a conversation over several beers, but it left me 99% confident it would be closer to Feb than 'early Jan' - unless they have made phenomenal progress with the JB's over the last three or four weeks.

Not long now either way though....

Could really do with an update on Stella... last one on 25th Nov stated that "start-up was anticipated in early Jan".

Canaccord put out new research note on Friday. I nicked it from IV:



They say :

"Furthermore, we believe that that company has identified other previously 'stranded' accumulations in the vicinity, which may be added to the company's portfolio at attractive entry price level"

So easy to see that if Ithaca can buy undeveloped fields for a few dollars a barrel, that this would add substantially to their NAV valuation of Ithaca.

Plenty near term upside in my view, oil should be flowing within days from FPF1 with oil at 60bucks very soon it's all to play for.

Well, production cuts 1st January should see further gains if no naughties. Me, I'm optimistic; looking forward to additions to greater stella and £1.75 or more by next xmas.

Freddie- I agree. I am a long time holder and am targeting 1.30 to 1.40 as long as POO stays above 55$ and Stella delivers 25kbopd very soon!

Any further upside will be based on driving debt down, increasing production , vorlich, Norpipe completion and possibly acquiring other fields.

I've held this in the past a number of times and came to the conclusion that if it was below a £ it was a buy and if it got much above it was a sell.
I am a holder, this time round I bought for 66p and saw it fall to circa 15p before getting back to where it is now.

I believe this company has changed, it is going to be a production company, fairly big time.
Again on the oil market, I believe world economic growth is likely to be OK but not sparkling over the next few years. Trump has a mandate to "Make America Great Again" I hope he succeeds, part of a great america is high oil use, and powerfull economic growth.
I see him opening up fracking and the arctic ocean.
Historically it has been US consumption that has been the bulk of world consumption, only in recent decades has the rest of the world caught up.

I have no problem with the notion that the share price of this company will be on a long term rising trend. Can it get ahead of its self? Of course. Has it? Maybe. Is that a problem? No, since it will just have to mark time for a while before the uptrend recommences.

I think stock is consolidating on heavy trading volumes - this is good. If there were any delays no upward movement or solid consolidations would happen... they'd already be selling seriously by now

you cant knock a profit Jim so good luck to you, I'm staying put and will review closer to the summer of 2017...plenty could happen between now & then, a probable takeover once production is upto 25-30kbpd that's my guess.

Fully sold up now, average buy in 31.4, average sell 90.5, profit taking too tempting and think this has got a bit ahead of newsflow. Might buy again if it dips. Good luck holders and cheers to posters on this thread over last year or two.
