12/8/2009 17:56 | In for some more today, tried yesterday but would come to my price , so today after having 2 fill or kills killed and just bought at market. As I want a bucketful when these things go for it. | james111
09/8/2009 15:12 | If you havent seen this artical then take a look Many good comment regards commercial property, I do like this quote " this month's figures seem to confirm that investors have awoken to what is now widely being seen as a once in a generation buying opportunity." I am certain commercial property is the answer to low interest rates, its so undervalued, the rise is just starting. dyor etc etc | james111
03/8/2009 13:46 | See my post 11, above! | alanji
03/8/2009 12:47 | 10.5% up today. any ideas why? appears to be a breakout, I think people are looking at the commercial property sector, as it is somewhat bombed out and things can only get better ( I Hope!!) Oh Yes and the dividend even after todays rise we still get over 10.5% | james111
01/8/2009 08:07 | A nice week but we have a lot of catching up to do, I am suprised we havent moved further ahead. I continue to drip feed funds in via my pension pot and will buy chunks if a set back happens for no reason. | james111
24/7/2009 14:42 | Posted on MCKS thread: Broken out of the trading range it has been in Since early May when F&C began offloading shares (mainly from its Fund of Funds ICVC) - total disposals 11.5m. Looks like they have finished. Compare the stats of IRP with F&C's other property funds (FCPT and IPT) and it is way overdue for a rerating. Still a seller about, though. 50k available online at 60.24 | alanji
20/7/2009 17:55 | skyship, I cant see us going wrong on this one, looks like divi will hold up. Banks paying nothing, I am still sitting on a very large amount of cash in banks have been drip feeding into shares since end of march, and now about 60% invested. its a balance not wanting to miss the lift off and being wary of a big sell off. Still thats markets for you. Good Luck James | james111
20/7/2009 10:26 | Good trade James - at least I hope it will prove so! Trades seem somewhat at odds with the reality on this one. I topped up with 10k @ 55.86p on the same day (2 x 5k). | skyship
16/7/2009 08:35 | not waiting for dip, just put a fill or kill in for 53000 at 56.5p, not sure if I will get it. EDIT. didnt get them, price dropped and just bought 53500 at 55.749, strange the way things work out. Regards James | james111
14/7/2009 08:08 | Very good news from IRP. Decrease in property values for the quarter to 30 June was 0.3% Adding back swap costs means shares are now standing at 27% discount to nav. Re-rating overdue. | alanji
14/7/2009 08:05 | what a nice surprise an increase in NAV. If it had even just held up it would have been good. I am sure we are on to a winner here. I am certainley buying on dips. | james111
14/7/2009 07:56 | STOP PRESS - A property company delivers a Q2'09 NAV INCREASE - YES - an increase. Nice work IRP....(NB: The increase is delivered through an increase in the interest rate swap valuation) | skyship
26/6/2009 13:29 | Nice to see an IRP thread as it is one of my 'core' holdings. The dividend of 7.2p is not covered but with over 6p covered it underwrites a yield of 11%. With a discount to nav of 20% and plenty (over 45%) headroom on its covenants it has to be a fantastic buy. | alanji
24/6/2009 18:24 | Bt back into IRP @ 53.89 today - will add on any further weakness. Have announced this new thread over on the CP+ thread. | skyship
15/6/2009 16:06 | Hi uk , nice to see someone else here, I have been in this one since late Feb have started to add and will continue to do a these levels. | james111
15/6/2009 15:11 | Like many companies involvd in Property, IRP has been hit very bad. However most companies are now picking up and gathering pace. IRP seems to be left a little behind, It is paying a mega divi 7.2p per annum paid out in quarterly payments of 1.8p. very bad results for last year yet dividend has been held up. So looks like they intend to keep it. that would mean a dividendof just over 13%. Pretty good in these times. | james111 |
