16/6/2010 20:13 | lol yes perhaps, but it's been tipped in spades tonight, so tomorrow it's going up. The logic is fairly straightforward. Whether that trend will persist beyond a day or two is another matter. | banshee
16/6/2010 19:50 | RUBBISH THE TREND IS DOWN. | carwhite
16/6/2010 19:06 | I have been idly watching this stock for a while, and now its tipped twice in a few days before I got around to buying any. Expect a decent rise tomorrow at any rate. | banshee
15/6/2010 23:36 | Every time Shares Mag tips they falls...ever noticed. This will be a buy at 50p you know what you can do with Shares Mag | carwhite
14/6/2010 16:57 | Nice write-up in Shares Mag 10/6/10 (copied from iii) "Small cap investors should look to snap up IS Pharma (ISPH:AIM) as the company gains momentum with recent pharmaceutical lines and rolls out new products. The specialty drug company is profitable and showing good growth. It is also relatively low risk, due to its strategy of buying late-stage development products, thus avoiding most of the dangers inherent in drug research." "buy at 68p" | red ninja
05/6/2010 17:48 | Red Ninja, It adds to the sense of things not being done right though. What with the exceptional costs appearing, things not be explained well, and IMO a hurried sale on the cheap to boost some figures, so when the performance doesn't sparkle it takes a lot of shine off the things which they are doing right. clogue, I'm more than happy for people to keep that in mind, although I would like to add that I don't want the shares to fall as I've been lucky enough to do ok from past trades so could walk away tomorrow. The GI article sums up my feelings nicely though, that if management keep a clean sheet, then stashing shares away now, whether acquired at 90p or 50p, should be rewarding in a few years. | gogoneko
05/6/2010 17:47 | lol, i'd be getting the hell out of this one asap. | smellyjim
05/6/2010 17:17 | good buy at 50p | carwhite
05/6/2010 17:01 | gogoneko: Thank you for your honesty regarding your holding, or lack of, in ISPH. Logically it would be fair to say that you want the share price to fall, and I as a holder, would want the share price to rise. Perhaps it would be better if people reading our posts keep our motives in mind. | clogue
05/6/2010 12:57 | gogoneko, You state :- "What I'm saying, and putting it politely, is that they're not consistent. I didn't really trust them at the time of the acquisitions and some of their various actions since then haven't reassured me. It's not a problem for me as I haven't bought any shares yet [edit : at least, not as a long-term hold] as I'm awaiting further developments." That may be true, but come to think of it I can't think of many companies that don't crow about their aims and fall silent and move on when they suffer setbacks. Come to think of it I can't think of many governments who admit set backs either. Gordon never admitted any failings, he always took the optinum path (lucky us). | red ninja
05/6/2010 10:58 | clogue, The acquisition (read: related party transaction courtesy of Geoff McMillan) of SEPI AG just two years ago for £9.25m (plus £5m deferred conditionally) was primarily to capture the supposed strong growth potential of Haemopressin. Whilst the European potential was highlighted there was also similar huff and puff about the US being an important consideration - which is in contrast to the dismissive tone which you appear to have heard from the FD. They were also quick to update when it was approved for fast-track approval in the US, yet they fell silent when it subsequently failed to receive it. What I'm saying, and putting it politely, is that they're not consistent. I didn't really trust them at the time of the acquisitions and some of their various actions since then haven't reassured me. It's not a problem for me as I haven't bought any shares yet [edit : at least, not as a long-term hold] as I'm awaiting further developments. | gogoneko |
