Exactly the same, I would say. I think it's pretty obvious that they haven't raised the funds they were hoping for, otherwise they would have reported that fact as soon as the offer period had closed.

So, what are they playing at? My guess is that they're just stalling, delaying the inevitable and hoping that something might come up in the meantime.

But they are obviously still monitoring the website and they replied to my e-mail very quickly, albeit with a stock answer which they appear to be sending out to any enquiry they receive.

I think yesterday marked exactly three months since the offer closed. Surely they can't drag this out for much longer?

That will be the same reply I got a month ago so it's taking a long time to write that shareholders letter. Maybe it's going to be something truly stupenduous

I recently sent a pretty blunt e-mail to the company. I received a prompt, polite reply which thanked me for the e-mail and stated that they intend to write to shareholders shortly with an update on the company and the re-listing.

I presume that any monies sent by those who wished to take part in the Offer are safe? I would have thought that these chancers wouldn't have access to the cash until and unless the offer was successful.

But there must have been some administration costs incurred during this long drawn out procedure. Who's going to meet them? Not this bunch of shysters who were quite willing to decimate the holdings of IVE shareholders and then tried to tap them up for more cash? Oh dear! My heart bleeds!

What a bunch of clowns. If they haven't raised the money then they need to wind this farce up soonest. Don't keep us hanging on for any longer. I would like closure.

Has it ever been possible to reverse a dilution ? If so it would be a start

Osammy boy,

Thanks. I'm sure you've mentioned that before but I was of the impression that that could lead to problems if this new outfit actually did re-list.

You can ask Hm Customs and revenue to declare the shares of nil value(Form CG34)
and then claim the loss on you next tax return. I have done it for a few in the past

That was their problem. Our holdings were worth next to nothing after the original shower's abysmal management of the company and then this lot come along, keep it out of administration, but wipe out any hope any of us had of recouping any of our original stake with the 200:1 consolidation. On the one hand, I can't blame them because they were no part of the previous shambles, but I really don't know if they honestly thought they were doing us a favour with their subsequent actions and that we'd be so thankful that we'd throw more of our money at this new company.

It's been almost five and a half years since suspension. Those of us that have seen our holdings diluted to the value of an average-sized Chinese takeaway haven't even been able to realise the loss against other gains we may have been fortunate to make elsewhere. I'm still paying monthly admin charges to an old stockbroker for just this one holding as I can't do anything with it other than give them away and forfeit the potential offset.

Enough really is enough. Re-list this new company or wind the whole thing up.
