I've learned from experience that being full of hope is not compatible with exposure to the stock market. Now, I hedge my hopes with an expectation of disaster.

No good doing things by half. If you had fully hoped things might have been different. ;-)

Cheers Zengas, it was only my rough estimate, I haven't looked at the presentations yet. Have you got a few shares here?A nice steady 4-bagger over 2 years would be good, albeit not spectacular like your HNR investment! Plenty of things still could go wrong on IRON, but the management quality seems good, and the offtakes provide reassurance.

You mightn't be far away Cyber. I looked at the 2015 presentation re financing. I'm looking for similar but a minimum 20p target and the possibility that the company will be sold with those off take agreements in place.

No tax on the 1st 3 years of production on projected cumulative sales of $122m.

On ongoing yearly sales of $51.6m year, tax is estimated at $6.2m/yr so roughly 12% (where you seem to allow circa 33% ?).

The possibility is with thriving and growing markets for all 3 products, any increase in production/demand could have material impact.

The Daily Mail article suggests that the smelter cost will be $60M = £40M. 25% of the funding is already probably available via the BEE holding (sounds like it will be direct govt grant ie. no dilution). That leaves £30M to find. If we assume a typical debt : equity split of 2 : 1, that means £10M through equity. At what price though? At 10p it would be 100M extra shares. There seems like a very good chance in any case that the total number of shares will be kept below 500M. *If* the predictions of $27M pre-tax profit by 2018 are true = approx £12M post tax, multiplied by 75% that the AIM shareholders own = £8M. On a p/e of say 10 (hard to see it getting higher for an African miner, even in relatively stable RSA) that would be an £80M market cap. On 500M shares that would be 16p share price, or with 400M shares (probably optimistic) 20p share price.Have I got anything wrong there?

That's how you do two RNS's, take note Amerisur.

Great news, looking good for the final take off agreement in fairly short order.

3 announcements required for green light: HPI off-take, construction contract, finance ... these will come separately as co wants an share price uptrend, given that the debt finance (majority) will be accompanied by an equity fund-raising (minority of the package). GLA ..

Popper of an RNS

Fantastic announcement, well done to those guys, not an easy place to work and a great result, faster than i had thought too, along with a very nice forward comment about the HPI which will be total icing, and looks to be fairly close to announcement too. GLA

Things coming together here and a reminder of what GC reckons our 2017 PBT is likely to be according to be, $18m = £12m against current m/cap £17m.

"...Clarke is a no nonsense fellow with a resolute focus on the bottom line. Based on current prices of high purity iron, vanadium and titanium, he expects Ironveld to achieve sales of $36 million and profits of $18 million next year, rising to $49 million and $27 million respectively in 2018. (His targets are in dollars, as metals are traded in the US currency.)..."

Ichimoku he say still above clouds but most recent chart signal is neutral. So in a good place but liquidity is low, momentum lacks energy and share price is fragile.
Its is, broadly, still in an uptrend.

All that said, the fundamentals are fairly solid and the narrative, though halting is heading in the right direction.
I have and I hold.

You can presently buy 100k at 4.85p. Some "sales" are obviously not then.
