I know its been said before thousands of times on this site, but I did not expect a fall like this in one day. Yes a gradual drift perhaps. What is the market cap now - 17M?

Well, I think the share price is close to 'worst case scenario'. So serious upside or a court case. I wish I had been around this afternoon to buy some more shares.

Anyway - before anyone chucks in the towel (at 6c) on the basis that Cook and Co are a bunch of useless losers I would consider the possibility of a class action (if shareholders do not recoup their investment). Not a class action sponsored by a bunch of overpaid lawyers but something not ever tried before.

I think that there has been too little time for Piotr to do a great deal. It takes alot of time and hard work to mobilise people. We all lead busy lives and if the truth was told I have had little time to devote to this even though it is my biggest shareholding.

I was thinking of ringing their investors relations dept today but got distracted by a whole lot of other stuff. It is probably the case that we are too small and they too big for us to make a material difference. However, I am not yet convinced we are going to be flushed down the toilet and I reckon there is still a possibility of significant upside depending on what occurs.

Fair enough.

With the exception of members of my family having their school and place of work in Belgrade destroyed in 1999 by Tony Blair and Clinton I cannot compete with that.

With the Ulster Bank ready to leave Ireland, all we need now is for the European Competition Commission to say 'yes' to our restructuring plan.GLA .

SHAREHOLDER
the procceds or profit from the LME and the contingency capital was 1.4bn,this was invested in irish soverign bonds in the summer of 2011 any intrest/coupoun since then as been reinvested in more goverment bonds.if you read the half yearly results under treasury, ptsb was holding 2.9 in goverment bonds, noonan said recently aib and ptsb had more than 7 bn in prefrence shares and convertible bonds thats before they sell any shares.if you look at boi results they made over 300 million proffit from there corprate and treasury division i think there NIM would be a bit dull without that coupoun/intrest.

Investorpeasant. You are a regular and respected poster here.I remember you mentioned previously that ILP raised around €1bn by burning the bondholders and that the money was used to buy Irish government bond in 2011. I wonder what will be the market value of that bond now considering the rate at the time was 14% - 10yr. Thankfully now down to around 3%.Having said that, I don't want the special to move up too quick and too soon .I prefer PTSB to buy the government shares for cancellation before paying any dividend.

I take it back, we won't get past it considering your attitude.
At the time you were encouraging to buy the governemnt was in the process of stealing ILP biggest asset.
Nobody knew for certain what the future held for the company unless they had some knowledge of what was going on from the Dept of Finance.
I don't like your attitude Shareho1der so I'll probably go back to avoiding this thread.
I bought MONI at 2.9p, a couple of years later I don't feel the need to hunt down people who were unsure about it now that they reached 80+

Sage .I am not good at predicting where a share price will be and when .But I know a good company when I see one.I have been telling people here for years that forced capitalisation here is a political motivated one and nothing to do with mortgage problems. And that both the SLO act and the bailout forced by the eu/imf/ecb out won't be forever. And some silly people continue to blame the Irish government.I believe people taking profits yesterday will live to regret.

Any research available to justify where share price may be in 2017 after return to private ownership?
