17/10/2014 11:34 | Decent bounce today. Decent bounce on the markets too despite the 'gloomy outlook' from the Bank of England. | shakeypremis
17/10/2014 09:00 | From 4 weeks ago: Pre-close Trading Update The Board is pleased to report that the business has continued to perform strongly in the first half of the financial year. Trading in the six months ending 30 September 2014 has been in line with management expectations, with both revenue and profits expected to be substantially ahead of the comparative period last year. These expected results build on the growth of the business in recent years, which has seen iomart deliver a compound annual growth rate in revenues of 32% since 2010 and 66% at the adjusted EBITDA level. Demand for the Group's services remains strong and growing as the market continues to move towards the provision of products and services over the internet. These strong market drivers leave the Board confident in the outlook for the full year and optimistic for continued long-term success. Angus MacSween, CEO of iomart Group plc, commented: "The Group has delivered strong growth as we continue to execute on our focussed strategy of providing high quality and high margin managed solutions. With an outstanding track record and an established reputation as the UK's leading cloud computing company, we look forward to the future success of iomart." | pamelajane
16/10/2014 16:24 | If I had any available funds, I would be climbing in on a large scale. | farhorizons
16/10/2014 15:56 | If there were skeletons you would surely expect to see some large sells. We haven't seen that, we are just seeing lots of fearful PI's jumping ship. | shakeypremis
16/10/2014 15:51 | skeletons in the IOMART closet? big bones | dlku
16/10/2014 15:50 | Trying to time my entry, very good fundamentals here. Looks way oversold unless there is something we don't know about going on, however, that seems unlikely. Still some selling pressure going on so it might fall back a bit further and could do anything tomorrow, especially if we get a continued market sell-off. | shakeypremis
16/10/2014 15:14 | It's the general poor market conditions/outlook that is causing people to head for the exit en masse and dragging the price down. What did Buffett say... | shakeypremis
16/10/2014 13:41 | This is one of the holdings I feel most comfortable about, despite the recent drops. They make rising profits/revenue, pay a dividend, have communicated some excellent results/updates to the market, and we know they are on the shopping list for bigger companies = substantial premium. As the Naked Trader pointed out; once one bid is announced, it usually isn't too long before another emerges. At these levels they are super value and I'm holding tight. I have seen them go up just as quick as I have seen hem go down. Strong fundamentals so happy holder. | gohilster
16/10/2014 13:23 | On a positive note they are highly ranked in the cloud space. iomart Ranked 20 Among Top 100 Cloud Services Providers: | aishah
16/10/2014 13:21 | Not a lot of chat on this thread one might say. Price has bombed out in last few days for no reason and is now priced lower that 2012 That is remarkable as they recently updated market saying trading and profit is above expectations for period ending september. Way too cheap as recently also turned down bid when price was up to £2.70 Have bought in for a big bounce on results. | loobrush
16/10/2014 13:14 | "On 13 June and subsequently on 27 June 2014, the Independent Directors received approaches from Cinven regarding possible cash offers for iomart at levels of 275 pence and 285 pence per iomart share respectively. The Independent Directors concluded that both offers undervalued iomart and accordingly, both were rejected." Shareholders must be a bit miffed at the mo. | aishah
08/10/2014 16:48 | Naked Trader agrees with me today... 'Iomart is hovering around levels where I would probably sell it and there seems a persistent seller, but I suspect they will head back up as fast as they came down once said seller is done so just about holding.' | fizzypop
08/10/2014 16:08 | I note the Naked Trader is holding firm on his recent share buys despite the dip in price. He's not one to be afraid to cut losers quickly so if he is holding, speaks volumes about his confidence in the company. And his not usually wrong...! | gohilster
08/10/2014 15:37 | Great reads thanks Gerri...suggest Aisha reads the FT analysis | nurdin

08/10/2014 13:55 | Growth slowing remarkably from 2015 to 2106. On what basis do you think this is cheap? | aishah
08/10/2014 13:22 | gohilster ... I reckon your right, what a great opportunity to pick up a quality share on the cheap for those brave enough to see through the temporary noise. When the bounce back occurs it will turn on a sixpence. | fizzypop
08/10/2014 11:30 | Tree shake by the looks of it. | gohilster
07/10/2014 16:00 | Well seems cheap to me so added rather more at 205.75p | fizzypop
06/10/2014 18:16 | It looks like this has bottomed at 206p although no upturn yet as confirmation. Time to buy or is a little patience needed? I initially bought at 225p but plan on adding more. | fizzypop
03/10/2014 05:52 | Suggest directors who sold at 275p buy stock to show the same faith as brokers buy notes. | trustman
01/10/2014 09:40 | Unicorn’s Mackersie: The UK companies that are rivalling Silicon Valley Online infrastructure – IOMART ...........[in a nut-shell?] ....“The company has great long-term prospects. Its profitable, cash-generative, pays a dividend and it’s got a pretty strong balance sheet. It’s got a bit of debt but not a significant amount, plus it is only running at 50 per cent capacity so plenty of room for growth.” | gerri-c
30/9/2014 16:10 | Consensus EPS forecats for 2015=13.28p followed by 2016=15.43 Current price seems up with events imo. | aishah
30/9/2014 15:47 | All the best Dav. I got 222.6 on Monday so hoping to see this move towards 300p maybe with the help of another takeover approach. Prepared to wait a while. | cutlosses
29/9/2014 19:51 | I rode this from sub200 and came out at 290. Back in today at 221 so just need to wait now. Haven't bought much for ages. I couldn't resist going back in at this price. | davr0s |
